Hey nice bikes and that was a pretty epic ramble! Not ridden a Venge, but have heard enough people IRL as well as in videos and on socials suggesting that it's one of if not the fastest bikes they've ever ridden (I wouldn't be surprised if Specialized release a new version of it in future). I recently bought an S-Works SL8 and coming from a 5.4kg rim brake S-Works SL6 and a 7.9kg Allez Sprint I have to admit I initially had buyers remorse. The SL8 is great, just not worth the asking price IMHO. I'm happy that all 3 bikes feel different to ride though. The SL6 is so damn light it's amazing up hills. The Allez Sprint is so aggressive, feels so fast and just eggs me on to ride harder, the SL8 feels like it's in the middle; it's hands down the most comfortable of the 3 and the bike I can ride for the longest on. All the best with the channel!
I am not sure if I or anyone for that matter should take you serious describing SL8 when you dont know your Venge. Thats not a 2019 that’s a 2020 model in SATIN BLACK/HOLOGRAPHIC BLACK. Just because your serial number has a 2019 year doesn’t mean its 2019. Serial represents the date of production. Venge Pro is carbon r11 not r10. Unless you are new to road bikes or you just trolling saying SL8 is same as Venge is silly. Is sworks really your bike or your just showcasing a store bike?
It's definitely a 2019. Purchased new in Aug 2018. Yes, 11R carbon, you could tell at that point I stumbled on the exact numbers but the point is the same, it was identical to the S-Works at the time. At that point the S-Works Tarmac was 12R but the S-Works and Pro Venge were both 11R. Here's an article from Aug 2018 with pics of the exact same model and paint. The SL8 is definitely mine, raced it a bunch last season including 202mi at LOTOJA. Venge has done LOTOJA 5 times. www.bikeradar.com/news/the-2019-specialized-venge-pro-is-an-s-works-in-disguise
@ I can verify what year your bought it. You care to share your serial number? ( just kidding please don’t share your serial number). I think you got your dates wrong. You or whoever bought it they had to buy it in 2019. Unless you are an abassador and you tested I don’t remember early release for sale of your frame.
@@bendardania guaranteed dates aren't wrong because on September 1st, 2018 I crashed it and put myself in ICU. Altered my life pretty big time for a long time and still have the five fake teeth from the crash and numb lips and tongue. That Bike Radar article came out a week before I got mine and shows the same paint.
Neat channel name, I have the Tarmac 6 and 7. was looking at the 8 but might go a different route now. Are you on strava?

Depending on specs I'd potentially sell both of these bikes to buy a new Venge.
Great video!!! 💩 how’d you end up in the ICU?
PS, I ride an s-works SL6 and an S-Works Venge. Hard to give up but I’ve very much contemplated it. I like this video
@@duncancyclescattle guard accident. Went OTB and took a carbon wheel to the face.
@@Highway_95 terrible. Glad you’re ok!!!
Gotta lower that saddle on the venge
It'll go lower if you need it to.
I'd take Venge over buttsniffer 10 times out of 10.
😂

Wow, such vivid colors....
I like my bikes black, like my heart. I think that the SL8 is going to get some blingy white logos on frame and wheels.
