Do the breakdown and analysis and you’ll find that Andor is just as poor storytelling as the rest of post-Lucas Star Wars. It’s just dressed better. Like how some adults can appear to be grown ups but actually hold on to their childish dependencies forever.

I liked the situation between the Jedi and the Senate in The Acolyte, I liked the idea... But the execution was poorly done, I like the imperfections of the order... They misunderstand their own philosophy.

The fall of the Jedi seems more like the machinations of a billionaire company forcing planned obsolescence in a piece of art then anything remotely planned from the get go. That is what happens when a corporation have a monopoly on a brand that it do not created.

You make a great point about the Jedi becoming too engaged with politics but that brings up a great question or a line of thought in that, could that have all been steered by Sith like Plagueous and others who were behind the scenes manipulating such things to get them more involved and use that eventually against them. Just a thought, great video.

This isnt just any little girl lol. We witnessed how smart, how tough etc. she is in the beginning of the series. 90% of the hate for these SW series are simply because some people didnt pay attention. That's not Disney's fault. Its just like how Rey isnt a Mary Sue ...they explained it all in the films how is isnt. Andor's whole thing was telling us something we've always known. The Empire is a threat. As individuals they're a joke. All that gear on a storm trooper and they can easily be killed plus they cant aim worth shit. The fear is from the size of their army and their firepower. Nobody else in the galaxy has ships has big as them not to mentioned the empire is run by two of the most powerful force users in the galaxy. Also go back and watch Rogue One...theres plot holes between that and Andor. Now you feel the treat of the empire ? 😅 you're traveling on foot in the middle of nowhere with no weapons capable to take out a tie fighter...yeah id see them as a huge treat aswell 😅😅😅 its obvious for so many reasons why this series tanked so hard. Im convinced you didnt even watch seaosn 3 of Mando. 🤦‍♂️ season 2 of Andor will failed and i look forward to more lame excuses for why.

A good well intentioned man grows bitter aat seeing a problem he cannot fix, then he falls in with the wrong crowd, has Sidious whispering in his ear, then he embraces darkness. I feel sad for the man he once was, but the man he became was too far gone and had to be stopped. Dooku is easily one of my favorite characters, not least because even at his worst he still had a soft spot for Qui-Gon and by extension Obi-Wan, warped as that sentimentality streak of his was.

TOTJ certainly made Douku a better character.

"Best fight choreography" Brother, half the fight is hidden behind trees and darkness to avoid showing how much of the fight was just intentional missing and meaningless moves. Shadiversity did a great video breaking down just how bad this fight is, specially in comparison to the prequels. That's not to say it wasn't fun to watch. It was. But seriously, the choreography was bad. Not sequel level bad, but bad.

Memorable Lightsaber fights in the first 6 movies, they were either the pivoting point of characters, or it was a like an explosion of a conflict that has been brewing.

thats why the obiwan vs vader fight in the obiwan series was so good too. the visions and dialogue and lighting, so much thought in every element. and your point about building up the characters all the way up to that point.

Simple: its because he was written different. In the original clone wars from 2003 his character is consistent with the movies. Which is not surprising as those shorts were meant to bridge episodes 2 and 3 instead of fitting in stories where they didnt belong. TCW is kind of like that trashy halo series. It uses a popular IP to tell completely unrelated stories. The only difference is that TCW did it the smart way and managed to make it feel like it belonged to the franchise despite the writers taking *A LOT* of creative liberties. And in the end the characters most affected by this were anakin and grievous.

windu is a good guy, along with the entire order. i think that many people misinterpret the jedi in the prequels because they watch the films as if anakin is the one you should be rooting for which is the root of the problem.

You're forgetting that Grievous had his upper body crushed by Mace Windu as he was leaving Coruscant. This was what made him cough, at least in Legends, and he was also on the run for much of the movie because.... he was losing the war....

Oh God! How I hate the STAR WARS fandom sometimes! A series like "The Andor" is overrated to the worst degree and a series like "The Acolyte" generates unnecessary nitpicking. NITPICKING! I'm beginning to suspect that many of the franchise's fans wouldn't know a good, bad or mediocre production if it hit them in their collective faces, because they're too busy judging everything, based on their own damn biases.

Can we stop saying "tHeY rUiNeD gRiEvOuS" because tartakovsky wasnt given anything other than a design. Lucasfilm didnt change grievous, tartakosky did. They planned on making grievous, from the start, a mustache twirling coward.

In Clone Wars, Anakin and Grievous never seen face to face due to a comment in Revenge of the Sith implying that it was the first time they meet. Even during a prisoner exchange when they have been a few meters apart, Anakin was fainted and Grievous tied down and could see only the sky. Yet, this show fails to check established facts in the canon before shooting a scene. This is not nitpicking. Blatant lore breaking and failing to understand the Jedi philosophy just shows how less the producers cares about Star Wars.
