Hi Kyle, An off topic question. How does one add google adsense code on a website built on block themes? All the tutorials show that we need to add the code in the header.php or body.php file in the theme files of Classic themes. I assume not the same with block themes. Can you guide us on how to accomplish this on block themes? Thanks.

Really, really helpful video, Kyle, thank you. I was likely going to go with Postmark anyway but thought I would check out Mailgun. It seems they have discontinued their forever free (up to 5,000 emails a month) plan and now only offer a free 30-day trial with a maximum of 100 emails.

do I need a plugin to be able to ad Elements to Appearance menu? Cause in current version of WP with a GeneratePress Child- theme I dont have such "Elements" option. thx in advance.

Default Query block or even GP QLB doesn't have a "random" attribute. That's a big miss if one has a site where related posts section should show random posts and not the same list on every post. I know Advanced QUery Loops plugin does it, but should be part of the default block.

I love GeneratePress, but global styles is hands down the worst feature. It’s much more convoluted than having everything in a global CSS style sheet.

I know this is a year old conversation but the email discussion in the first 12 minutes was interesting to me. I like how Jonathan doesn't do e-commerce or real estate specifically to avoid the problem of "emergency" emails. I don't do agency work (yet) but I have been in IT for more than 30 years and I've found that setting an expectation with the customer is very important. If they don't expect a response after hours, they often won't reach out. In a sense, we train our customers.

This s a great episode and it's wonderful to see Tom doing more programs like this. I'm really happy to see Generate One released; having said that, the decision against offering everyone with a Lifetime Membership to GeneratePress Pro is remarkably disappointing. Those subscribers were among GP's early and most ardent supporters and the effort to coalesce the separate GP Pro and GB Pro platforms into a single easier to manage offering should include a special offer to those early adopters.

Neat tools, basically there is a big similarity (almost a copy) of the ASE plugin. But this version is visually better processed.

HI Kyle, I'm new to WP (not a developer) and just an end user. I am trying to build a site and now stuck. I want to only show the first 2 words of the post title when posts are displayed in a grid on the archive page or a custom page i build (will fetch the posts using the query loop). However, the full title should be present in the source. Using the Twenty Twenty Four blocks theme. Unable to find any information on how to achieve this as apparently the 2024 theme is block based and not a php one (absolutely no clue what any of that means). Could you guide me on how to go about achieving this? Thanks.

What Trump said was the most anti-2nd Amendment thing ANY President has said. An automatic weapons ban is peanuts compared to Trump taking ANY gun without cause. Every 2nd Amendment supporter should withhold their vote from Trump to send a message to all future candidates.
