Great video as always, I'm learning a lot from you Kyle. I would love to see more of these workflow videos.

Great tutorial Kyle. I think that this new system is going to be more intuative and easier to use for people who have hand coded websites using CSS. It's like writing CSS without having to remember the syntax.

Thanks Kyle very helpful. I'm starting to make the changes in the latest version as well. Well worth the time.
I'd love to see how you approach typography with the new changes using the fluid approach you use. I've been hacking ideas together but it doesn't feel robust at the moment.

    Awesome video as always, Kyle!
Question, are you creating your button styles in Elements? Or are you just creating them on a blank page and saving all the styles in the global styles?
With the updates to patterns and global styles, are we just using Elements to hook into the theme now?

I'm excited about the class system BUT I'm concerned it'll make my developer experience even messier.
Right now I make changes in the customizer for GeneratePress related stuff (colors, typography for example). Then I heavily utilize writing my own CSS (and a little PHP) in the (Child) Theme Editor. Then I use the Global Styles feature of GenerateBlocks (which now seems to be obsolete hopefully). I don't even want to mention the Elements and reusable Blocks...
With the GP GB setup I have the feeling I need to be all over the place. This is not a good dev experience at all and makes maintaining the sites pretty confusing.
If the new class system would be a one stop solution for all my custom code: BAM! AWESOME! If it adds jet another layer: OHNOES!
I would love to hear your thoughts on a simplified workflow Kyle.
And thanks for your great content!

I have a problem with the text color of the link buttons. The color cannot be changed and is always according to the global setting for the link, because the link has a higher priority.
