This is amazing! Can't wait to try it out on my own! Great video Kyle as always that is very clear, simple and easy to understand and follow. This is a gamechanger for future builds! Oh boy we gonna safe so much time :)
The ability to style these classes and it apply to all patterns is unlocking a whole new potential - like giving the clients the ability to add content, without them need to design anything at all! Hopefully some "restrictions" on who can access what will be introduced down the road.
This as I said in your previous video is amazing, by the way I like the more modern aproach they took on this, looks a bit similar to Olie Block Theme which I loved, but good good job - thanks for the video
This is great! While the previous system was clever, classes are so much more powerful and bring more flexibility to the table. The single thing I’m unsure about after watching this video (I did not get to play with the update yet) is what the workflow looks like when you want to create a one-off style, ie. You import a set of wireframes like in the video, but you need one of the titles to deviate from the others for stylistic purposes. I would imagine it’s as easy as adding a class to that title, but I don’t know whether it will make sense to people unfamiliar with this approach.
This is probably one of the most awesome things I have seen yet! I cannot wait for this to go out of alpha into the updates 🙂 Does this upcoming version make the extra PHP we use to forward changes to the customizer and elements obsolete? or will we still need that code for customizer? it would be awesome if it was baked into GP/GB so that only builds that don't use GP/GB would need the code.
It looks good but I think these are the templates made by Mike who is a real genius when it comes to GP/GB but he uses only PX everywhere so I am not compartable with it. I think we need to change all units to PX to REM and etc therefore with this pattern templates.
This is pure genius. Tom is always moving the needle forward for the WP Community. Thanks Kyle for your dedicated to update.
Make sure to see my interview with him this coming Monday!
@@TheAdminBar Yes, I am locked in for that.

Really glad you enjoyed it! I'm so excited about GB!
It would be really cool if Kevin Geary and the Frames team could get frames to tie into this!
If there's enough demand, I bet they will look into it!
I didn't think it could get easier but just wow! Super excited to try it out.
I think you're gonna like it!
This is amazing! I've just made the move over to generate blocks and I'm so glad I did. Thanks for your tutorials they are very helpful.
This is awesome! We are working towards this builder and this video confirms our decision. Thank you!
Welcome to the *lite* side!
I am very excited about the classes and new pattern library in GB. Thanks Kyle.
Me too!
Looks really sleek! I am going to use it, most def.

Yeah, it sounds like Tom has that in mind! 🙌
I've got a new client that wants a basic brochure site. Totally using this!

Aw, thanks Erin! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for your support!

Are you talking about enqueuing the CSS?
Do they have support for ACF relationships yet?

This is really amazing 🤩!
It really is!
Am I correct in thinking this will replace styling options in the customiser?
No, not quite. For example, you have to add a font to the site via the customizer (GB wont enqueue a Google font)
I can't see them in the latest version of GB. Is it a beta release?
Yes, this is an alpha release. You can log into the GenerateBlocks website and download it. Not to be used in production!
This is OP ❤
I'm so old I had to ask someone what that meant 😂
Me too
How do I get to show the Generateblocks logo when I start a new blog post? I don't see it
This is in the ALPHA release - are you running the alpha version?
@@TheAdminBar Now I understand it comes with the update. I am not running the alpha version.
Dude, why you are not creating some cool patterns and sell them? Like is doing some guys with Kadence
Generatepress is paid theme?
Yes
Powerful
Extremely!
