everyone else here I swear found it early, I was more interested in the sky and ground than the depths (i actually discovered it pretty deep into the playthrough but before the gorons) so I actually did the rings quest to discover here.

2:52 is the section of the song that always makes me tear up. It feels so full, so triumphant, and so final. I know a lot of fans feel this game was a disappointment after Breath of the Wild --- and I can KIND OF understand. But imo this is such a beautiful game that stands out as more than just a sequel. Does it have its flaws? Yes, of course. But it also introduces some of the coolest mechanics the series has ever had while boasting some amazing questlines. I also appreciate the developers for trying out a more in-depth story with this formula --- even though I don't think it works as well out of order as BoTW's did. Zelda sacrificing herself to become a dragon and heal the Master Sword, Link pulling said Master Sword from the Light Dragon's head, and the final fight until the end rank among the most memorable Zelda series moments of all time for me.

It's a crime this theme doesn't have any covers.

Idk why people don't like this boss, I mean he's annoying but he's got a ton of charm. Just a little guy that runs around throwing shit on the floor.

I'll say it, Nintendo absolutely dropped the ball with this fight. It was way too God damn quick and easy, and frankly not enough gimmicks. Wind Waker did the Ganondorf fight the best with all the different phases.

Coming back and gliding back into Tarry Town, seeing familiar faces as well as new ones, TOTK knew how to hit me in the feels with this little home away from home.

I found the TOTK soundtrack to be ok at best. There were some good tracks here and there but for the most part it’s super low key. But this. Holy shit. Jumping into the gloom, seemingly endless free fall while this crescendos. Absolutely hair raising awesome.

i loved this fight but i would have loved to see him jump into the air to counter bullet time the same way he counters flurry rushes

This by far my favorite music from the game so far. Winter time themes are always the most calming and soothing kinda beats in any game and TOTK did this much justice❄️☃️

They should partner with studio ghibli to make an anime series of botw and totk that goes more in depth into the story and characters and it should use the music from the original games! I would LOVE to see that!!!

In terms of level design, it is one of the worst 3D Zelda dungeons, but its ambientation is easily top 3. I love this place in the game.

Not sure why the game recommends that you fight this after the Wind temple when the dungeon is much easier and the boss battle is so meh. The Zora quest to get to the temple is more difficult than the dungeon itself

you forgot a phase, once you have completed the ascent up the storm cloud and are hanging above the eye, before the skydive, there is a horn piece.

This was one of my favorite boss fights in this game. Interesting concept for a Zelda game.

Interesting how Gibdos in this game look like mummies on the outside but their true form is more insectile in nature. Creepy. 🫣

The design of the boss itself was slightly underwhelming. I was expecting a giant Octorok that spewed sludge-covered rocks, lashed out with its tentacles and spread sludge everywhere among other things. Still, not as terrible as Tentalus from Skyward Sword. Music for this fight is amazing, however.

This theme along with the fact that it was pitch dark scared the crap out of me I refused to enter the depths for the longest time because of it
