    With a dynamic loft close to 20 and the AoA at 6.2. Resulting at a peak of 40m. That's on the high end. My guess is that the shaft is tip heavy. Don't know your driver length, head weigth or grip weight but d5 is sort of normal today with 46.5 drivers. More interested in the MOI of the club.

  • @JRM8047
    @JRM8047 День назад

    @TheMcfreeze @SydneyGolfTech I think it's important to note that when looking at different shaft models frequency doesn't make much sense for the reasons mentioned in the video. However, when building a set of irons that are using the same shaft model with the same EI profile, frequency matching can and does make sense. When you buy a set of irons off the rack there will be variations in the frequency matching due mostly to inconsistent headweights and possibly some other minor factors. It can result in one or two clubs just being off enough that you struggle with them and that can lower your overall consistency and confidence level of the whole set. Making sure the final build of a set of irons that use the same shaft are consistent club to club gives players a lot of confidence that they know what to expect. The reason you don't see frequency machines in tour trucks is because they're using tour spec equipment that's all been sorted for weight and accuracy. The variations that can cause mismatching frequencies are basically eliminated before hand so they still end up with frequency matching gear, just without having to measure for it.

    • @SydneyGolfTech
      @SydneyGolfTech День назад

      @@JRM8047 as CPM changes with head weight, the absolute best way to build a set of clubs is with swing weight. Match the swing weight and the frequency will be just fine.

    Unfortunately, all these videos prove to be basically useless to the average golfer. What we really need to do is find somebody who is a very low handicap and swings in your swing speed range. They should have videos like this set up where one guy has a swing speed of 70-80 mph, another at 80-90 mph, another at 90-100 mph, another at 100-110 mph, and maybe another at 110-120. Players need to find a guy with a similar swing speed so that the assessments will get them in a more useful ballpark for themselves. A guy who swings 82 mph with a driver is not gonna gain any information from this video from someone swinging with over 110 mph. I have this complaint with everyone who puts up these type of videos because I feel strongly that the player needs to find someone in their range in order to get some useful information. If there could be a series of videos where you list the swing speed range in the title, that will help people very much get better information for themselves. Just a thought. I’m a 1 handicap by the way, so this isn’t coming from some weekend hack. Just someone who’s always seeking out information and I think this is a much better way of doing it.
