Hi Greg. From Canada here. Thanks for the informative videos. I have a 105-110mph swing speed. Have you noticed a particular shaft that pairs well specifically with the Darkspeed X? Cheers! I will be getting fit FYI but just curious.
@@jodyson8575 I really like shafts like Ventus blue that have a little extra spin as the darkspeed can be pretty low on the spin. Thanks for watching. 😃
Another great video Greg. Have you done any testing with the Ping G430 LST and different shafts? Keen to hear your thoughts on which shaft is suited to that head.
Shafts are suited to the person not the head … you gotta go test them In it as others might have different results Ie I have the Denali black 60TX in my 10k head and it’s lovely .. I swing around 122 mph for reference
Ping always make great drivers. However the head and shaft combination, along with the players swing type will help find the right shaft. The other issue is in the head weight. Ping make heavy heads so that has to be considered also.
@@SydneyGolfTech Thanks Greg. Was just keen to know if you have tested them. Counterbalanced shafts seem to work well in Ping heads due to the weight. I guess I'm on the mythical hunt for the perfect shaft as I've tried Kai'Li white, Tensei Orange, Graphite Deisgn BB (which I really like the feel of but just a tad too low in spin), Hazrdus Yellow and ACCRA TZ6. The problem here in NZ is finding a fitter that has access to most shafts.
@@SydneyGolfTech Hey Greg. Quick update. I had a fitting today and tried the Ventus range. My numbers are so close to yours when you reviewed the Blue, TR and Blue +. Tried the Velocore + 6S, TR Blue 6S and TR Red 5S. Agree with you on the weight of the Velocore + and for me the TR Blue was tighter and didn't give up left on the hard swings.
@@wardman7655 I’m not exactly sure what you are asking but it’s people compare Ventus black to VF because they are both advertised as low launch and low spin shafts.
Will you be reviewing the New Diamana Whiteboard soon? I am curious to see how it compares to the Ventus Black and the Graphite Design VF. Thank you, Joe
It’s nice doing reviews who is more realistic in distance compared with the average golfer. When you have some people doing reviews that hit it 320 that’s doesn’t give ghe average golfers a lot of sound advice.
Which do you think is easier to turn over in your opinion? I hit the new blue but not in a head I liked. Fast but all over the place. Hit the VF in the right head and quite liked it, strike was good but found it hard to draw.
How is the blue tr vs blue velo+? And why not try 5s if you like it lighter? Preference?
Great video. You have a very consistent swing. What club head have you found works best for your swing.
@@gregcochennet385 I find most driver heads will work when paired with the right shaft.

Would you say the vf then is lighter feeling than the ventus blue tr as well?

I play the ping g425 with this victory force shaft I used to play it with the ventus blue tr all in 60 gram stiff they paired well for me

Interesting that they have much of the same characteristics - vs everyone trying to compare the VF to Ventus Black. Do you think that is not the case?

@@SydneyGolfTech Thx - was trying to say on paper, the blue and the VF seem to be more comprable. Trying them all myself

There’s a good chance that will happen. Thanks for watching.

@@SydneyGolfTech Thank you! I'm down to these two or the Accra TZ Six.
Graphite Design VF hands down (may be a little biased).
It’s a rocket 🚀
It would help if you hit the center of the club face. Hitting it low right is not very indicative of what the club head or the shaft can do.
Look for robot test then.....
Or better still, do your own...
