    Nice video.. I enjoyed the commentary around feel. Looking at the stats, there really is no 'statistical significance' that would make a player move from one to another. Just my .02

    • @SydneyGolfTech
      @SydneyGolfTech  4 месяца назад +2

      That’s correct. No statistical significance but my ability to shape a draw with the 2024 was better than the TR, so I’d pick the 2024 over the TR in this case. Also the spike in spin was less with the 2024 so it then also nudges the 2019. The art of fitting is not always about finding a statistical difference but often it’s about giving the player confidence to hit the shot they need to hit.

    Interesting exact same driver head but I've got a tensei 1k black in x but launches way to low roughly around 9-10deg looking at a ventus but still not sure want the launch but don't want anything that feels soft got a tour ad as well but it didn't work maybe it's a swing flaw 😅

    I'm a right harder and play the TR Blue in 5S in my TSR2 and am struggling with a slight right miss, and find it almost impossible to turn over. Around 100mph clubhead speed, 3-4 degree up AoA, neutral to slight O2I path. Shots go straight to slight fade but with the occasional big right miss. Love the feel of the TR and the TSR2 head but always been a straight to left to right player pre this shaft. Do you think the new Blue might be a better fit and help with the right miss? Love the reviews!

    • @SydneyGolfTech
      @SydneyGolfTech  4 месяца назад +1

      There’s a really high chance that the new blue will help. The slightly softer butt section can help with your right miss. You could also change your adapter setting to upright. Thanks for watching.

      @@SydneyGolfTech Thanks! Correcting my note, I was always a straight or right to left player before this shaft (doh). Ever since using the TR I've struggled to hit a draw even with the upright setting but I do love the feel. Will see if I can find somewhere to try the VB+

      It feels heavier and is a lot softer in my opinion. So the new blue should launch and spin more than the original black.

    I've got a tsi3 9* with addi 6S. Swinging about 100-105 on avg. I do struggle to get my aoa up enough with driver, usually around 0-1* up. Launch around 11*, spin around 2500. I can miss both ways unfortunately, but I do prefer to hit a draw. I'd say my miss is to the right a bit. Which ventus would you suggest I try? I would love to get launch up and spin down a bit (going to switch to tsr3 soon to hopefully help this). I have a fairly aggressive transition as well. I was thinking ventus black to kill spin, but I think I need the launch of the blue. The new 2024 ventus blue is one I have my eye on.

    • @SydneyGolfTech
      @SydneyGolfTech  4 месяца назад +1

      I’d suggest going to a 10 degree with Ventus black. You will reduce spin with the black but won’t get the launch you need with a 9 degree head I’d say.

      It’s like: who makes better cars-Toyota or Honda?
      They’re direct competitors making high end after market shafts. I will say that having tried MANY GD shafts and having played the GP for five years that once you find a GD shaft you like that it’s very hard to get it out of the bag, while I know many people who were in the Ventus Blue for a bit and went on to buy a new shaft and a new one after that.
      I really liked the feel of the Blue 5S in a TSI2 my friend was playing.

      All new shafts are different as well are heads. While technology may have been maxed out, rarely the player is maxed out. Hence why new products can work great for some players. MOI has increased significantly over the last few years so misshits are way better. Saving money rarely works out. Fitting is always the best option.
