Wonderful explanation, leaving nothing out. This is another example of the reason why getting fit is SOOO important. Shaft and head combinations are paramount. I often question RUclipsrs when they compare driver heads with the same shaft which may deliver varying degrees of spin, loft and distance purely based on deflection and contact. I think maximizing head and shaft options for the SPECIFIC player is the best way to compare drivers.
Great overview of how spin is produced and what the fitting variables of loft, lie, shaft bend profile and club delivery do to impact spin. The only variable not covered is golf ball selection. Golf ball choice can and does have a big effect on spin. Good job!
Best explanation I've seen especially the way active tip shafts act both ways depending on how one loads it. I'm trying to lower my spin with same club speed. I suspect my slightly open face at contact as I come in to out. Any tips?
Brilliant video, makes so much more sense, with the dynamic loft , im currently rocking a stealth turned down to 7 degrees but still have a high launch upto 20degrees only swing at 100mph and onlu carrys 220, think its my shaft, its stiff but i used to have a Kali white which was amazing and much more piercing trajectory
Currently 85 mph launch 12 degrees and 3600 rpm I am suppose to work to 16 degrees and 3000 rpm. If I increase driver loft for more launch I will get more spin but I want less.

It’s the only way to test different heads 🕺🏻
Absolutely love the explanation of a “high” launch shaft! 9:44
Lol your easy shots are me absolutely smashing them lol
Great video! I’ve developed more speed but I think I add dynamic loft leaving some yards on the table.
Superbe vidéo ! Jamais aussi bien expliquée
Continues comme cela c’est génial 👍🏻

So true. Golf ball is a massive variable. I definitely should have mentioned that one. Thanks for watching.

Great explanation Greg.
Thanks very much
Massively insightful. Many thanks
Great video. Really explains a lot.

Dynamic loft is the key to launch. 🚀
@@SydneyGolfTech trying to lessen mine at the moment
@@garrysutcliffe6254 both shaft and technique will help.
Really great overview - thx!
GREAT video - thanks
Nailed it 100% great video
This guy is as good live as he is on YT!! Seriously pay him a visit - and I’m from the UK - if you are little more local!!
-2°c here and due to play Southport and Ainsdale next week. In Spain last week and wife was booming it with the shaft you put on the Cobra driver!!!

Try and increase launch without adding driver loft. It will then reduce spin.
Now the tip for hitting down on the ball with driver is to hit it off the paint. They go much higher then your shot. 😂
It's not white at the front it's blue!
golf is difficult..
