when i first watched chainsaw man, i'd just given up on dorohedoro because of the 3d character animation (it wasnt bad, just unexpected and i wasn't a fan) so i was already primed to dislike the 3d shots in csm. but they work so well that i aimply had to keep watching. it isnt perfect, but 3d animation was definitely the right move for denji's fighting style, and the uncanniness helps boost both the horror and the clumsiness. its just so good

On a whim I decided to start watching this, and I'm so glad I did. Not only is it one of my new favorite anime ever, but it's also helped to fill a Swamp Jawn sized empty space. I can't wait to see your other videos on it.

The fact you have Twinkle Nora Rock Me in the upper monitor there is so cursed. I love the idea that the whole point of Goodbye, Eri is to set up a deeply emotional situation only to have it end in the most absurd way, just to continue that on into the next series of events to lead to the same absurd ending. I like the idea of reading the story not as two separate movies, but a single movie ABOUT making two separate movies. That the whole thing is a single narrative connected by the idea of movies manifesting reality, and also explosions. It's like the whole thing is meant to be an elaborate prank on the reader.

Wow... it's amazing how many of you pretentious film students (or enthusiasts) are out there and how exactly the same you all sound when trying to give your overly eloquent take on an otherwise irrelevant show (not that it's bad, rather just one more drop in the ocean). I mean it's uncanny, all the way down to the seemingly disinterested tonality in your voice... and that hint at fake self-deprecation by invoking "your legal team"... Just amazing. Now that's a phenomenon I'm gonna analyze for my video on RUclips's most generic anime and tv show reviewers.

Somehow, the whole vibe of the opening and the Anime itself reminds me of Bleach, especially the first opening Asterisk by Orange Range - vibrant, fashionable character designs and unhinged shots. Even the vibe of Creepy Nuts reminds me a bit of a modern, more edgy version of Orange Range. Anyways, love both series and openings 🧨✨️

I personally love the OVA. its my ideal way to experience part 3.

Watched the whole anime in one shot for the first time this week, and Episode Seven caught me off guard. I was crying my eyes out through the whole thing, as I'm a parent myself and kind off can imagine what Silk felt. This is one terrific episode for sure, really a separate from the another 11.
