I was looking into an outdoor and boilers need alot of piping so I plan on getting the type that pipes the heat in...2 intake 2 recirculation .....like 5 to 7k

I was nervous of our flute cuz same reason and my father in law had originally built it aeperate of the house so being completely external there's no chance......it will need relined

we keep a big piece of iron on the top of our wood stove and it holds heat for a good while after the stove dies down and kinda helps regulate the temperature a little. I think a big metal bucket of sand might work better tho. wasn't sure if you had thought about it but maybe it would help

Muffler built that 590 for me and it has been a great saw. That saw is running great

Nice runner. I’ve got a bone stock gray top 61 and it’s no slouch especially for being almost 40 years old.

I just built a 55 rancher, stock open port cylinder stock carb 205 psi static compression 108⁰ exaust and wide.... widened the intake no timing changes other than the base cut. It will tie with my stock 620 pw Echo with a 20" 3/8 pitch bar and chain in a seasoned 20" piece of wild cherry, i'm a big fan of compression and flow over high exaust roofs in a firewood saw.

😊😊 U need 2 take a wire brush and clean the file out they do stop ✋️ 😮 up W filings then they won't sharpen a chain the same way and when there is no teeth left onthe file they won't sharpen nothing either including butter 😮😮 OMG 1 1 25

365 piston is what I use in 61s but I cut all the clearance from the band

HEY SMITTY, YOU CAN ALSO INCREASE COMPRESSION ON A FLAT TOP PISTON BY DRILLING SHALLOW "SPEED OF AIR" HOLE PATTERNS IN THE TOP. WORKED REALLY WELL IN MY OLD 394, AND MY 72CC 61...SEE: "SPEED OF AIR DIESEL PISTONS" ALL BASED ON THE "WATER HAMMER" DESIGN.

Man that Echo is loud!!! Even with ear muffs I would get tired of hearing that all day.

It sounds lean at idle that will also make it not idle right down off wide open throttle. My echos really lean out as they warm up.

That was cool seeing you run it in a real world situation. I think it sounded lean off WOT back to idle and a little lean pulling off idle. I would say you have a leak

I noticed that when pulled from the cut it sounds lean with the high idle. You could be correct about an air leak. Thanks for the entertainment

The clutch on the 550 has bonded clutch shoes, one or more has probably let go and needs phenolic resin bonding back to the clutch weights

do u set raker too for each? one thing i know that, if top plate set angle from 30 to 35, cutting angle also become sharper if ever u don't change motor head angle 60. 35 top plate may need 65 or 70 motor head to compensate for cutter's straight jumping on the bar

I have the Poulan Pro version of that saw, it's the PP5020. Kinda similar to the 450 Rancher in many ways.They run pretty decent tho.

😊😊 years ago many people did use regular motor oil 🛢 😊 4 bar oil and they did motor oil 2 mix W gas be 4 /2 cycle motor oil was made and most likely it's the bar on the saw the old 1S aren't like the new chainsaw bars U have 2 mod the oil hole some U can turn the oil pump up on them it also may be the bar oil U use and the bar can't be stopped up W dirt grit or sawdust either other wise the chain won't turn and the bar will get hot 😮😮 like that and will make a burr on the chainsaw bar then it won't cut like that either U have use a flat file and get the burr off of both sides of the bar top and bottom so it will cut like it should 😊😊 OMG 12 25 2O24
