For all the Neo Tech guys I would recommend the farmer tech aluminum manifold base. The plastic one is cheap and when gets hot it can suck air and the saw I had they actually cross threaded the carb bolt into their plastic pile of garbage with bolt in it and it was sucking air like crazy and carb wouldn't tune. Also make sure the little o ring is behind the oil pump sleeve that prevents air from escaping the bearing thru sleeve and causing tunability issues!
I just subscribed to your channel Dave. Heard Gobs about ya on BBR's channel, it just never clicked to look for ya. I'll check you out this afternoon. 🤟🏼
I’ve been running 32-1 forever. That’s what I always had on hand for my dirt bikes so the saws got it too. The crank bearings seam to like it, on the bikes they last twice as long with 32-1 instead of 50-1. I like seeing how square filed chain cuts but hit so many rocks I don’t run it, I stick with the quick and easy round ground.
Yeah. I have been really wanting to square file. Thanks for the video. Your saws run fantastic also btw Hey dude, I just got a P70 Partner this summer, & I think a P55 carcass. (No plastics). Those seem like a decent saw! And I see you have done some work to your's. I saved the playlist on that'n. I also have a Homelite 360 I'm going to be tearing into this winter. So your videos will help immensley. Both them saws is non-runners. But clean. Ish, lol. Uh gosh what else, since I'm dumping my life story on ya? Oh, lol, I'll be majoring, & porting another 372xp, a 353 xp, & this weird Mcculloch Titan 57 unit. Seems likr a neat saw.

Could see if raising the metering lever helps bring the idle down. Dont always work but sometimes it does.

thank you for sharing😊
Chain looks and cuts good.
👍👍 chain and saw are running great!
Thanks 👍
50:1 is 2% oil in the gas, 32:1 just over 3%. Not that much percentage wise when you think about it. 👍
Your square ground chain looks mean. Good job!
Thanks!
Hp2 is the only oil I would run at 50:1. It's almost a waste at 32:1. There's so much oil left in the bottom end, it looks like you poured it in! 😂
