When they run that good, it makes cutting firewood a whole lot more funner.😅😅😅

Sounds like an 8hp+ saw. I have one that I deleted the gasket for .020" squish, advanced the timing 1/3 keyway, dual 7/8" pipes muffler and a husqvarna walbro. It definitely sounds very healthy.

Look like it the 372 running really good. My opinion I would try maybe a colder spark plug and oem carb. Also check the impulse line make sure it is not kinked alittle were it goes in the intake boot. I was playing with my 372 when put a champion rcj6y I noticed the hjet setting was about 1-1/8 and run smoother and snappy rpm. When i put a champion rcj7y in it the hjet setting was about 1-3/8 it seemed the colder plug like less fuel and the hotter plug liked more .

    I'd try a different muffler.
The ones with big holes in the front are great for racing but bad for work saws, with the big open front you need to be really rich on the high for high rpm cutting but they dont idle well. You can get similar power with a couple one inch pipes for muffler openings but with the exhaust flow having to go around a corner/bend they idle better.

Ive noticed a couple of my ported saws need a higher idle but a couple of them dont. My ported pinkway saws were fine but my stihl clones like a higher idle

Fast saws make work more like fun. Id rather be cutting wood than driving this truck anyday.. probably even in the rain lol

Im working on xl12 right now, I got a pioneer 1200a piston, now trying to source main crank bearings, it seems mcculloch 10 10 is the same bearing?

Pipes and big muffler mods they like fatter. But they rip and pull hard in the cut and that is what counts!
