we keep a big piece of iron on the top of our wood stove and it holds heat for a good while after the stove dies down and kinda helps regulate the temperature a little. I think a big metal bucket of sand might work better tho. wasn't sure if you had thought about it but maybe it would help
I'm glad you do the videos. you and a few other guys help me more than you know with getting to enjoy my hobby while still at work on the road. thanks man for sure. congrats on the job
You have some fun projects going on, 1 at a time is all I can do, if not I'll end up with 50 small things all over the place to do. Drives me crazy sometimes 👍🏻 Stay steady buddy and congrats on the Pipefitter position.
I was looking into an outdoor and boilers need alot of piping so I plan on getting the type that pipes the heat in...2 intake 2 recirculation .....like 5 to 7k
@@novicelumberjack It gets the job done but nothing like the one in my house. The one in my house puts off twice the heat on the same volume of wood. But then again it’s the difference between hundreds of dollars vs thousands of dollars.
@Smittyschainsaws I have high hopes for my Unicorn stove because it has a blower. But low expectations. Modern stoves work much better. My Buck 81 is amazing.
I was nervous of our flute cuz same reason and my father in law had originally built it aeperate of the house so being completely external there's no chance......it will need relined

Nice stove! I tried very hard to get one exactly like that. The seller wouldn't return my messages.
