I purchased a low mile Mint 94 Z28 that is in new condition 3 years ago. Loaded with T-tops. It is one of my retirement toys. It has doubled in price already. Honest. So if you can pick up a nice SN95 I would say Get it Done!

Great video with many details and all are absolutely true! Bought my 1992 GTS 21 years ago at rock bottom price in Germany and never regretted it! Regardless what people say, this car was built to last. The last true manufactured car by Porsche. At 169 kmiles today, it still drives and feels like it just rolled off the assembly line. Never let me stranded in 21 years of ownership!

This is such great advice! I sincerely appreciate it. I really want one of these cars, but not sure I want to deal with all the extras maintenance items such as the oil leaks and the extra attention required. For reference, I drive a 96 E36 M3 Techno Violet, which is a real beauty, and was built for the American market to be as maintenance free as possible. While it shares some of the same concerns as the 964, the maintenance price is 1/3 the cost and repairs are super easy. Plus the engines are torquey, are widely available, and are known to easily reach 300k miles. Will probably still purchase a 964, but will definitely keep the E36.

Very nice! A couple of things, here. My 99 Cobra 'vert, Rio Red, has only a K&N and a Pro 5.0 Shifter. No gears or other mods. My 03 Cobra 'vert, black, has an MGW shifter, K&N, a Centerforce dual friction clutch and 3.73 gears. The 3.73 gears are a great upgrade. The gas mileage hasn't changed, but it is more responsive. I have custom billet pulleys, but stock size, so it is just something for looks. I had a couple of the stock pulleys fail, so I figured that I would upgrade to something better. The original radio is basically scrap. The changer failed, which happens to a lot of them. I still have it, but I upgraded to an Eclipse system years ago and it is excellent. The 99 has the original CD/cassette player. Stock exhaust on both. I drive my 12 Premium, which is only a V6, with a stick, most of the time. It is what I drive on vacation, back and forth to the east coast, to keep the mileage down on the Cobras. An excellent video and good advice, for those who want to upgrade their Mustangs. Me, I like them just the way they are.

New one started leaking right away so they pulled the transmission and put another new seal in and it’s still leaking. Any suggestions to what’s going on here?

Great content! Had an '87 S4 with the pop up wing and daily driver for 5 years. It was extremely fast from 80 to top end and with the auto it would just toggle between 3rd and 4th gear just trying to go faster. Replaced with a '91 S4 that was pretty much just perfect. It wasn't as fast top end but much faster than the '87 0 to 60mph. I always loved how they just sit or squat down when at speed and more gas is usually the answer.

94-95 v6 mustangs were also OBDII. Just wanted to mention it, because it always bothered me when people refused to use their scan tool on it. 96 OBDII was mandatory on all cars, but that doesn’t mean earlier vehicles did not have these computers. Of course, v6 mustangs, despite their production numbers, seems to have become much more rare than the v8s.

Bravo!! Props to your support of the 928! As far as maintenance, if these cars are maintained you can easily get over 300,000 miles. I have 200,000+ on mine and it’s been meticulously maintained for the entire 27 years I’ve owned it! I know the car inside and out and it still runs like a bat out of hell! I go so far back that I was around to attend the Devek events up in San Francisco. They did lots of work on mine as I’d drive it up there from San Diego just to have them work on it!

The Fox body Mustang is an awesome ride! I had a 1973 ex NC hwy patrol Fox body Mustang that was so fun to drive daily until I was crashed into from behind at a red light. Nobody was injured, but my precious Mustang was totaled. If you get a chance to own a fox body you won't be disappointed. It's a joy to drive any Mustang... With that unmistakable intimidating loud roar, rumbling growl, it will send thrilling shivers down your spine. Go for it!!

I've owned many cars in my 65 years. My absolute favorite by far were my black '91 LX hatch and white '89 notch. I owned them both at the same time. Multiple different power adders, head and cam combos, etc. Did all the work in my garage and loved every minute of it. For me they're fun in stock form or modded to whatever extent you choose.
