I AM GETTING A 2-OWNER SN95 1994 IM GONNA BE THE 3RD OWNER IT WAS BOUGHT BRAND NEW AND IT WAS GARAGE KEPT FOR 26-YRS NO RUST ANYWHERE ABSOLUTE GEM OF AN MANUAL EXAMPLE 👀 AM SO STOKED
I just bought my first Mustang in June, I'm 49 always wanted a New Edge after seeing a '99 Cobra in the showroom😂 I didn't get a Cobra though, I got an '01 Bullitt in Dark Highland Green. It's prestine, lowered, new 18" offset Bullitt wheels, new clutch, flywheel, CAI, all new clutch supporting parts, 3.55 gears, short throw, Borla Atak catbacks, new subframe connectors, performance castor/camber plates... I love the sound and robust longevity of the 4.6 2v. I have an '06 p71 with just under a half million miles on it and it is and has always been flawless. 👊🏻
I purchased a low mile Mint 94 Z28 that is in new condition 3 years ago. Loaded with T-tops. It is one of my retirement toys. It has doubled in price already. Honest. So if you can pick up a nice SN95 I would say Get it Done!
Bought my 02, gt, vert, 10 yrs ago. Sonic Blue, bone stock, 5 speed with just under 35k. Today it's just over 50k and modified now. Still love this car.
I picked up a beautiful '01 Bullitt in Dark Highland Green in June of '24. Just over 80,000 miles, lowered with new 18" offset Bullitt wheels, Borla Atak catbacks, CAI, new performance subframe connectors, new Ram HDX clutch and Ram lightweight flywheel and all new clutch supporting parts, with 3.55 gears and short throw shifter. All of its Bullitt identification intact perfectly. Inside and underbelly like it just came off the production line. 🙌🏻😊🇺🇲 these are fun cars
Ouch! The deals are out there, it just takes a bit longer to find the right one. Wintertime is the best time to get a solid deal! 💯💯 Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
I love the New Edge. Mine is stock, the only planned change is upgrading the exhaust in the future. I don't race it, just cruise around and it still gets tons of complements.
@HernanSpeed great video. Now is the best time to buy. Here in Michigan they are rare in the country, but big cities you see more. Getting hard to find a New Edge in General.
Yea back in 94 they looked like a rocket! Took my granny’s 98 GT to prom and got my 04 Mach 1 dream car about 10 years ago. Had a 99 cobra and 01 bullitt too as well as tons of base models I used as commuter cars. Got a 79 Foxbody too. And my first car was a 90 5.0 in canyon red. She ate imports alive back in the day early 2000s!
I had a '94 GT back in the day and it was one of the funnest cars I have owned. I am a porsche 911 driver today, and I tried to by a 94/95 Mustang GT Manual for my son to learn on and I was super surprised by how expensive these old Mustang GTs have gotten.
I found and love this video and oddly enough I have a UHaul trailer attached to my Tundra and my wife and I are headed to AZ tomorrow to pick up a teal with black convertible V8 with 5 speed that has 24,000 confirmed miles. I hope I love it as much as the 2008 Bullitt I had.
I had an '89 Foxbody - bought it with 60K miles, drove that for 5 years. Then I bought my '95 with 55K miles. Actually, I owned both at the same time for about 2 or 3 months and I could compare them back to back.....The '95 in all ways drove and felt so much better....I never understood why the SN95s get shat upon and the Foxbodies are so revered.....I bought the '95 in November 2000 and I still drive it to this day.
You’ve still got it! That’s awesome!💥💥 In a short time, people will start noticing how amazing these cars are….prices will skyrocket! Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
These cars price to performance is really good, especially considering how inflated newer cars and being less expensive it’s much more forgiving if something goes wrong.
Great stuff. Robocop the TV series was one of the first to feature this car. I remember when these body styles came out, the values of the 80s/early 90s Fox bodies fell off. Times have changed.
Good video. My Cobra's, a '99 and '03, drive as well today as they did when they were brand new. Just basic mods. Shifters, K&N and the '03 got 3.73 gears. My '03 has a certificate, signed by Tom Scarpello and John Coletti, because they took the car off of the line and ran it on the test track. It documents what they did and the mileage that they put on it. As far as the fix for the '99, it really didn't help me any. The slight gain in HP, on the upper end, came at a loss of torque down low. Before the fix, I could flatten the accelerator from a roll and chirp the tires. Afterwards, nope. I don't drive them too much, now days. Either way, they are great cars.
I’m a Camaro guy, but I love these mustangs, I would have bought one but everyone I knew had a mustang and I’m not a follower lol It brings me back to better simple cars… my 2000 SS is the most reliable GM I have ever owned, no technology just in your face manual V8 Americana 🇺🇸
Love Camaro’s! My dad always had one. When GM brought out the LS engine’s, it completely changed the game. The LS’s are still the most swapped engine in history, I’ve even seen them on Ferrari’s! Simple & Reliable! Nothing like American V8 POWER! 💥🇺🇸👊👊
@@staypuft9994never lost to an era mustang, only one I wouldn’t even try was my friends 03 cobra that ran 11s … I’m not one of those idiots that takes on a challenge that I know it wouldnt even be close….but thanks for the stupid comment 👍
I agree with you on the reliability part especially. Those Camaros and Firebirds were the last true old school feeling vehicles, with barely any technology in them outside of the digital dashes. Nowadays I still see the F-body Camaros way more than any firebirds, but those V6s and V8 LT1/LS1s are built like tanks.
I got 3:73s in my Mach 1. They are good if you do ALOT of highway driving. Or just don’t wanna burn up fuel. I like the 3:73s I can still lay down good times at the track with fat tires out back but can still go cruise on the weekends. I recommend 3:73s vs 4:10s but I will say the 4:10s will decimate all!
Honestly, most cars from the 90s and some from the early 2000s are peak automotive design in general. SN95 Mustangs, F-body Camaros/Firebirds are the best cheap V8 coupes you can currently buy before prices go up.
I never liked the sn95 when it first came out but in 2015 i think it was a i got a 95 GT that had a cobra intake already on it,bigger maf, cold air intake and coilovers. Then i got a 96 cobra 3 years after but sold that to get a built foxbody that was way faster than my cobra. I had 3 foxes in total also. Might get a Terminator next if i dont get a 02-04 z06 .You forgot to mention the New Edge Saleens, those werew sick asf and the super rare saleen cobra's plus the 2000 cobra R and the 95 Cobra R
Brooo, you definitely know SN95’s! 🙌 Yesss, the New Edge Saleen’s were also incredible!! 🚀🚀 It’s hard to pick which one is better, I want them all!! Z06 also! We all need bigger garages! 💯💯
The only problem I had with a T5 that I would beat the living hell out of the door friction Centerforce clutch as the third would pop out a gear I would just hold it in the third so it wouldn’t pop and go on the fourth I could downshift on the fly a trip every year with my T5 up and down the tree I never had a problem with a T5 to me they were extraordinary and indestructibleThe only thing at the time I thought I wanted was a T6 so I could run with the Porsches as a naturally aspirated 11 second car GT 40 heads and a custom ground phantom cam .
Centerforce clutches take a beating and keep going! 🔥🔥 Most people went with a cheaper clutch, so the sincros wear out faster because the clutch never fully engages (cable stretching made it worse). A 6-speed is the way to go, especially if you want to use it for road trips 🙌
I'm on the fence. I'm about to be in the market for another vehicle. This will likely be the last vehicle i buy for a long while barring a car getting stolen or totaled. Im looking at a 96 - 04 cobra or 2016 - 2020 GT350. I have a huge fondness for the SN95 platform. My first car when i was 15 was a 97 LX and i still own it. Im heavily leaning toward getting a 97 or 98 cobra and upgrading it and just driving it as an alternate daily driver. On the other hand, the 550 platform with the Shelbies is tempting. I wouldn't do anything to them and again, would drive it on the weekends. Any thoughts from anyone who owns one or either of those cars? Ive watched a ton of videos on them but these videos here just make me reconsider the SN95. So many good memories with them.
I recently got a 93 Stang, same car I had when I was 15 years. It made me feel young again, the feeling also didn’t go away after the novelty wore off. So a newer/faster car will be cooler to some, only one car makes me feel young. I think you already know what’s right for you 💯💯 Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
The 96-01 Cobra is currently the best bang-for-buck option & it's something barely anyone has. Who DOESN'T have a Coyote/Shelby? Anytime I take out my 98 Cobra people are taking videos at stoplights & trying to talk to me about it. The 4.6L 4v is the best sounding small-block ever made, pair it with flowmaster 40's and watch people's jaws drop as you drive by. Sure, the s550 is a bit faster but not as much as you might think, especially after you do bolt-ons & gears to the Cobra. The 4.6L is considered to be the most reliable modern engine Ford has ever built. Obviously you'd need to consider the overall condition of the much older sn95 cars before buying one but a clean body with good paint 96-98 Cobra can be had for under $13,000. Be aware the Cobra can be very different from their GT counterpart of the same year, for example doing front control arms on those year Cobra requires you to move the steering rack out of the way, luckily it's probably the easiest steering rack to move that there is. As a "Sunday driver" purchase, I vote you go sn95, if you have any questions at all, I can reply here.
I was so turned off and mad when they made this car then after watching this video I want to go look for one an old one again I had one of the older 5.0‘s the squared off Fox bodies and I always thought the new ones was the actual Ford probe with a 4.6 in it pretending to be a Mustang but when I get the time I think I want one ☝️
I have a 2001 GT, 2001 Saleen S281SC convertible, 2002 Saleen S281SC coupe, and a 2003 terminator, yes I like New edge mustangs, lol, had a 2004 Mach 1 also.
@HernanSpeed terminator since new, and ive always loved the way the Saleens looked, our saleen convertible is a 1 of 1 yellow spyder package. Nice video by the way!!
sn95 with the 4.6 are great cars. they drive nice. the engine is reliable and good on fuel for a v8 but performance isnt there. to modify is expensive. if you have the money put a supercharger on it and call it a day. just do suspension work and brakes. its not expensive even now so its a good buy
The early & slowest SN95’s 96-98 years are transformed with PI heads & gears (under $1,500). That gives you a low 13’s car, faster than stock LS F-bodies of the era. And a nice Supercharger changes the whole game, you know it! 💯🙌🙌
We all need bigger garages for the toys! 😆 My favorite is a 1994 GT, it’s the first one I ever sat in as a teenager….it’s stuck in my head forever. The later years are much improved in all aspects, the engines run forever! 💯 Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
@@HernanSpeed haha thank you 🙏🏻 that’s so true especially here in Florida. I wish I could build a bigger garage than our 2 car. The 94’ GT is also stuck in my head too. I worked at a Chevy Body shop and the mechanic that looked exactly like Tom Cruise had one and I moved it one day. It was dark red Beige interior, glistening in the sun. ☀️ Beautiful car in my memory.
@@HernanSpeed yes that’s the color. Definitely an eye catching color combo! I don’t like Burgundy cars at all. But that Laser Red was stunning! I was shocked in your video that it also came in Tangerine 🍊 ! Wow that had to be super rare. I never saw one in that color before. Keep up the great work brother. I can’t wait to see the next video you have. That last 928 Video was amazing! 😻
The 4th gen f bodies kicked mustangs ass for the whole run 93-02. The terminator doesn’t count because it was too late 03-04. I bet if gm kept making the 4th gen fbody for a few more years they would’ve made one with the 405hp ls6.
That is actually true and in my opinion the F-bodies are way more sporty than the Sn95 Mustangs. The Camaros and Firebirds of that era looked like a rocket or spaceship on 4 wheels. But honestly any V8 American coupes from the 1990s are the best bang for buck currently. Camaros, Firebirds, and Mustangs are worth it in general, except the weak Inline 4/4 cylinders, and V6 models of those vehicles. 😂
I love the 4h Gen F-bodies! My dad owned many, I also owned a 2002 Camaro (mintyy). These were initially faster, but GM stopped pumping money into them after the LS came out….Ford doubled down. This is why we had so many versions of the SN95.
Have you seen the original Mach 1’s from 1969? Man, that thing is dancing in front of you nonstop! 💯💯 I think modern engines are to smooth to have a noticeable shake, unless a healthy cam is used. It’s still really cool! Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
What’s up man! It really depends on the quality of the swap! I’ve seen clean factory like installs, but also some painful looking ones. If plan to keep it for a long time, then resell won’t matter. But if you think you might want to sell it in 3-5 years…I’d stick with original (easier to sell). Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
I have a 1997 mustang cobra with 114k miles runs and drives great black on black lowered with BC Racing coil overs I plan to sell if anyone is interested
CANT BELIVE He said "There was No 2000 Cobra" is he HIGH??? The most Iconic Cobra of all time was the 2000 Cobra R. WTF BRO!!! Didn't even mention it once in the video.
Naww, you going there? That’s one of my all time favorites! 🙌 But… The Cobra R is totally different than the Cobra, it’s a separate model (less than 300 units). Thanks for watching bro! 👊👊
Nice!! Take a walk around video of it and upload it to RUclips! Do it as a normal video(not short), so the search algorithm picks it up. It’ll sell fast! 💨💨
Mustang sold 1,562.529.....Firebird & Camaro combined sold 1,679,652. Firebird & Camaro sold 117,123 units more. Am I missing something? Still enjoyed your video though.
The correct sales numbers for the 4th Gen Firebirds & Camaros are 980,384 units sold (combined). Camaro: 630,914 (total) Firebird: 349,470 (total) The SN95 Mustang sold 1,562,529. This means that the SN95 outsold the F-bodies by 582,145 cars during its production. It’s not a bad thing today. The lower sales numbers of the 4th Gen f-bodies have helped it tremendously with resell values VS Mustangs! Me and my dad both had 4th Gen Camaro’s, video coming soon! Thanks for watching!👊👊
Except, the SN95 was never a 5.0...It was a 4.6 and neither the Foxbody as it was a 4.9 And I owned the red GT convertible featured on the cover and the center pages of the Eibach catalog for the year 2000. It is me driving it with my left hand on the wheel and my dark sunglasses shown through the windshield.
@@HernanSpeed there were some fairly substantial differences between the '94/'95 and the '96 considering they dropped the 5 liter and went to the new 4.6. And the New Edge gens got more power
It's NEVER a good time to buy an SN95. These are awful cars. 5.0 was made as cheaply as possible by Ford. in other words, up mod the engine and brake the input shaft. The brakes belong on a Pinto. Handling what handling . it just barely goes in a strait line. 99 % of the cars you are going to find have been trashed , so check closely it' probably been in a wreck. Spend your money on something else.
It’s an easier ‘search term’ for newbies to find. It is in fact an “SN95” only, but lots of people don’t know that. Some even think the New Edge isn’t an SN95 because it looks a little different. So, for clarification: SN95. Thanks for watching bro! 👊👊
15:10 That Yellow Mach1 is the one ScrapLife Garage bought from Copart, right? I should have bought one of these back in 04...Was looking between the Bullit and the Marauder, though the guages being white made me get the Sport Crown Vic. I still ahve it but needs work....had a bad wreck in it. But frame is fine, and still runs.
I had a 2001 GT. I slapped a blower in it and with suspension and a good clutch will run 12s all day at the track and still super daily driver friendly! ruclips.net/video/WMbOHeQj_gI/видео.htmlsi=J-XCyfTlCmFGROmD

This gives me hope for my 94 cobra. 🙏🙏🙏
That’s a GREAT one!!! Thanks for watching brother! 👊
The tagline in the movie Bullit Steve McQueen utters the line no compromise the next time you watch the movie look for the speech .
Will do! 🙌🙌
Love the vids
Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
Great stuff. Robocop the TV series was one of the first to feature this car. I remember when these body styles came out, the values of the 80s/early 90s Fox bodies fell off. Times have changed.
I totally remember the Robocop series! Times have definitely changed! Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
You’ve got some great Cobras! Keeping them in ‘like new’ condition really adds to the enjoyment! 💯💯
Thanks for watching brother 👊👊
You are a follower! You follow every mustang you race 😝
@@staypuft9994never lost to an era mustang, only one I wouldn’t even try was my friends 03 cobra that ran 11s … I’m not one of those idiots that takes on a challenge that I know it wouldnt even be close….but thanks for the stupid comment 👍
@@staypuft9994😂😂
Yess, the 3.73’s work incredible well on Mach 1’s💯💯
Honestly, most cars from the 90s and some from the early 2000s are peak automotive design in general. SN95 Mustangs, F-body Camaros/Firebirds are the best cheap V8 coupes you can currently buy before prices go up.
Yesss! These are the cars that will still be in the streets 30 years from now! Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
I picked up a 650HP 03 cobra this past May. Wanted to get one before they keep going up
YESSS! 🙌🙌 Solid investment! Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
I still have my 98 Cobra in the Garage
That’s what I’m talking about! That’s how they stay in great condition for decades! 💯👊👊

I think you already know what’s right for you 💯💯
Thanks for watching brother!
If you find a really nice one, you’ll definitely love it! The early 94-95 years have that legendary 5.0 in them!! Thanks for watching man! 👊👊
I have a 2001 GT, 2001 Saleen S281SC convertible, 2002 Saleen S281SC coupe, and a 2003 terminator, yes I like New edge mustangs, lol, had a 2004 Mach 1 also.
Bro, you went all out!!! 🔥🔥 That’s what I’m talking about! 👊👊
@HernanSpeed terminator since new, and ive always loved the way the Saleens looked, our saleen convertible is a 1 of 1 yellow spyder package.
Nice video by the way!!
Great selection! Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
sn95 with the 4.6 are great cars. they drive nice. the engine is reliable and good on fuel for a v8 but performance isnt there. to modify is expensive. if you have the money put a supercharger on it and call it a day. just do suspension work and brakes. its not expensive even now so its a good buy
The early & slowest SN95’s 96-98 years are transformed with PI heads & gears (under $1,500). That gives you a low 13’s car, faster than stock LS F-bodies of the era. And a nice Supercharger changes the whole game, you know it! 💯🙌🙌
Thanks for this review. I never knew they were so good! Interesting…. Another one I need to add to the collection.. 😢😂 which is your favorite? 🤩
Yeap, same here! Laser Red/ Beige interior! 🙌🙌
Thanks for the support! 👊👊
These are the best project cars, especially the 94-95 gt.
Your talking facts! 💯💯 Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
Because they are good looking quick and cheap on gas as a daily driver
You speak only the fact’s 💯💯👊
what do you mean it doesn't actually shake? it is independent of the hood and moves with the engine and did in video!!!!! good content tho
Have you seen the original Mach 1’s from 1969? Man, that thing is dancing in front of you nonstop! 💯💯 I think modern engines are to smooth to have a noticeable shake, unless a healthy cam is used. It’s still really cool!
Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊
yes I have seen it and no its doesnt compare...it could shake more lol. no problem, thanks for responding!

Comp Orange is definitely a rare color, I’ve only seen it twice! It pops in the sun!
What do you think about a v8 swapped sn 95 ?
What’s up man! It really depends on the quality of the swap! I’ve seen clean factory like installs, but also some painful looking ones. If plan to keep it for a long time, then resell won’t matter. But if you think you might want to sell it in 3-5 years…I’d stick with original (easier to sell).
Thanks for watching brother! 👊👊

Camaro: 630,914 (total)
Firebird: 349,470 (total)
The SN95 Mustang sold 1,562,529.
Actually there was no 2002 cobras. There was 2001 cobras
Correct 💯💯, there were no 2000 & 2002 Cobra’s. Thanks for watching man! 👊👊
Except, the SN95 was never a 5.0...It was a 4.6 and neither the Foxbody as it was a 4.9
And I owned the red GT convertible featured on the cover and the center pages of the Eibach catalog for the year 2000. It is me driving it with my left hand on the wheel and my dark sunglasses shown through the windshield.

The 94 mustang is the least desired mustang corre t?
I love it! It’s got the 5.0! 👊👊
Because they’re cheap and the parts are cheap. And they got uglier after that until recently.
Facts 🙌🙌 The ability to fix them for cheap is huge, newer cars are getting impossible to work on without dealership diagnostics 💯💯
"New Edge" is '99-'04
All 1994-2004 Mustangs are SN95’s. The term New Edge refers to the minor styling update in 1999. Thanks for watching! 👊👊
@@HernanSpeed there were some fairly substantial differences between the '94/'95 and the '96 considering they dropped the 5 liter and went to the new 4.6. And the New Edge gens got more power
Definitely! Another SN95 / New Edge video coming up next week! 🙌🙌
Interesting. What car are you using to compare the sn95 against?
What with the s95 new edge crap. Its a 95mustang. Period. People think they're car guys smfh
It’s an easier ‘search term’ for newbies to find. It is in fact an “SN95” only, but lots of people don’t know that. Some even think the New Edge isn’t an SN95 because it looks a little different. So, for clarification: SN95.
Thanks for watching bro! 👊👊
SN95 is a body/design code, not a model year. In 2005 the body/design code was S197, etc.
