I remember seeing this at Electronics Boutique, recognizing the name of the series and asking the cashier if it was any good. He gushes on about it. "If you enjoy RPGs you can stop shopping around this is the game you want" so I bought it. I stayed up until the early morning playing it and I loved it. While laying in bed afterwards I was thinking about how I picked the already made characters, and I wanted to make my own and do something different. So I got out of bed snuck back to the computer, and started making my own characters. My mom found me asleep at the keyboard 😂

This channel is like if Ross Dungeon never took off because he made smaller videos on several games instead of focusing on reviewing one. I just found it and I miss it, hopef you come back someday 😢

I know all of these and I played most, just missed a few because I only play on Computer. I also recommend especially Beavis and Butthead in Virtual Stupidity, Callahan`s Crosstime Saloon, DUST, Archibald Applebrook and Chop Suey.

The only crime here is that I'm only finding this video in 2024... Also, the "insert 9/11 joke here" was fucking giga-based 😂😂😂

I have Cadillacs and Dinosaurs on MAME on my smartphone. I play it at least once a week for years now. It is such a great game and does feel perfect, not so stiff like other beat em ups. A real masterpiece. It is so satisfying to hit enemys. In my opinion only Batman Returns on the SNES comes close to the hit-feeling...you can almost feel Batman's headbutts.

Oh, finding video was just amazing. A lot of stuff I never even knew existed and some that I've heard of but never played. And there's Buster and the Beanstalk, which I've lost the the count of times I finished back in my childhood. It was fully translated (and dubbed) in Portuguese, so I managed to enjoy it fully here I Brazil. Took me some time to understand that I needed to collect the pieces of the keys to open the castle, tho (in my defense, I think I was 5 or 6 at the time). Great game (that I don't think I would have the courage to play today).

I loved this game... I had the bugged version that made it impossible to get to Ascension Peak... so I was stuck there until the patch... I remember vividly the calls with my friend as we traded hints (instead of studying for exams)... maybe only thing I really dislike is the encounter level scaling.

I played Dactyl Nightmare when I was around 30 at a VR arcade in Boulder, CO around 1991. My friend from Germany found the place and wanted me to go with her to check it out. We were the only ppl in the place and could play to our heart's content (at a price, of course). I was wow-ed by the experience and have often talked about how the pterodactyl swooped in while my friend and I were firing at each other and picked me up and dropped me from the heights. The fall seemed so real! I have never forgotten the experience.

HELP! I'm looking for some point and click adventure game I cannot find anywhere. Possibly mid 90s+ era. I know there are werewolves in it and you have to use silver bullet some time in it. I don't know much more, it's pretty atmospheric and scary, not cartoony/humorous or anything like that

I played this back in 1994 at an event at my school. We only had a few minutes and played 2-player. I went 6-0 and even got what appeared to be a Dactyl kill be shooting it in its gaping maw at point blank range. I lined that shot up and waited till its mouth was wide open and vulnerable. I probably over thought it, but I had few instructions.

One of te thing that amazed me at the time was the movement of your arm holding the controller was reproduce in game on your virtual arm holding the gun. This really added a lot to the immersive experience

I had the original BAT because it looked fascinating, but it was about the most impenetrable shit I ever played as a short attention spanned child. Could never make ANY progress in it.

HELP! Has anyone played a cartoony 2d beat em up with children main characters - boy and a girl (on rollerskates?). For their special move they pulled out a boombox and everybody started dancing? The (final) boss was a big overweight disco queen with a crown, big red lips and a black dress like a witch.
