i got conflict vietnam running on PC flawlessly using specialK tool to throw it into windowed mode, check out the clip i have called all games look hd in windowed mode, its a clip of conflict vietnam and the graphics look 10000x better than fullscreen. I almost died IRL trying to beat conflict vietnam on easy so dont think playing on medium is something that you should try. On medium its like impossible

For Me Its A Tie, Sega Has The Streets Of Rage Games, And Super Nintendo Had The Final Fight & Ninja Wariors Game, And It Comes Out To Personal Taste

Conflict Vietnam by Pivotal and other franchise is my Fav one, I played a ton hours on that game with my friend

I played through many times, sometimes together with my wife. Despite its flaws, I love Colonial Marines. There's also a lot of love for the franchise in this game.

Jackal was right up there with Contra when it came to playing with friends. Legendary Game. I spent many hours in the basement with my friends playing this game.

The Jackal is an incredible co-op experience. Sadly, this gem wasn't ported to that many systems.

Rise of the Tomb raider is awesome! One of my favs. It's quite true. Consoles are keeping arcade games alive as a genre. I get what you mean. I play a ton of different games for the channel, and it might take some time to get used to a game I hadn't played in a while. Yeah, thousands sounds about right. There's a ton of games I own but haven't gotten to. For sure, no wonder YTers, Twitch Streamers, etc who have to play games every day purely for content get jaded and skeptical about games. It's always fun to watch you play arcade games.

The original sounded better...this was a great 2 player game.

There were more superior arcade ports on the SNES than Sega fans wanna admit.

While not exclusives, SOTN, Resident Evil and Tomb Raider were all better on the PlayStation.

Other reviews have said it has game breaking bugs where you constantly lose progress in the game. You didn’t mention this at all. Did you not experience crashes and loss of progress?

I've played every one of these but echo night. If you tell people not to play these games then we're sure as hell gonna play them.

Great video. I had all these games for 5. Even first to fight and dessert storm for Xbox. I killed them all but enjoyed men in valor since you can play a split screen with your buddy!

Hey man whats up My first vietnam game was shellshock nam 67even tho i never completed as a kid but i wanted to complete years later until i finally did and i remember the missions so much years later too my favorite missions of the game is when ur sent to rescue the prisioners at tye castle and the next mission when u gotta defend the place with a sniper riffle with night vision goggles then again i always did like night levels in videogames too jaja im glad to finally complete the whole game

Funny video, it ignores a lot about game design and set rules that makes Mega Drive have less titles to compete. Not to mention it praises games with high flaws. It could be better with japanese titles and talk about better games like Gourmet Sentai Bara Yarou and Kunio Tachi no Banka

There were exactly five games that anyone who owned a PS1 back in the day got their consoles exclusively for: - Resident Evil (1 or 2) - Gran Turismo - Tomb Raider - Final Fantasy VII - Metal Gear Solid. Every PS1 owner I ever knew bought their console for at least one of these games.

Hands down, stellar picks here. I remember MGS flung open the doors to me with how story driven AND cinematic a game could be. It began to really blur the lines of entertainment. SOTN was my go-to proof that side-scrolling action was still relevant even in the 3D space. What a fun adventure. And right on with that music. We love sharing how we utilized it in our wedding. 😊

Great stories, like in MGS, Silent Hill, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, Soul Reaver and many other games, help to create a strong emotional connection with main character and game overall. It also helps to overcome dull moments in gameplay because of curiosity of what will happen next in a story. Klonoa was the first game that made me cry in the end. Purely because of a good plot twist. And it was amazing. It was totally unexpected from a platformer. Such games become priceless memories. I remeber playing Japanese version of Ace Combat 3 through each ending just because of story and emotions. Even not understanding a single word )))

Gran Turismo was an influencial game in its' genre. Twisted Metal has started vehicular combat genre. Parrapa the Rapper was the first rhythm game if I remember correctly. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was surely influencial. Terracon (widely unknown game) was a PS1's Halo. Publisher refused to release the game in US just because it was "too innovative and unusual". I would also mention King's Field action/RPG series with its huge interconnected open world, dungeons, tons of secrets, weapons, armor and magic. Those games were SoulsBorns of the era. Series began even before the Elder Scrolls. And the third game introduced especially huge seamless open world with dungeons underneath each part of the map two years before Ocarina of Time.

And in ps2 : kill switch and resdint evil 4.

Metal gear solid created the delusion that video games can be cinematic masterpieces on par with movies. Without it, we wouldn’t have the glut of movie games today (uncharted, last of us, etc)
