Catching up--HAD to check this out. I enjoy Run 'N Guns and the PS2 is one of my favorite consoles of all time. Loved the Shattered Soldier entry--but definitely doesn't pull punches. I need to go back to Neo; I don't recall it as well. Blowout is going on the list! Aw yeah, loved seeing the MS Anthology here.
I know infinite lives were a major cheat in games up to the early '00s, but now most every game has infinite lives built in. So, I wouldn't feel bad about it. I did not expect the alien one. It reminds me of the Destroy All Humans! games. I know it might not fit this time of year, but I have a vid idea if you haven't done it yet. How about going through classic games where you play as a vampire? I'm not talking playing a vampire hunter, as those are pretty common.

These type of games have always been my favorite. Defiantly check out Neo Contra
You truly can't go wrong with either Contra title on the PS2. I'm gonna have to check out Blowout, looks promising. Thanks for this list, dude!
