Yes, the football rivalries Texas brings is good. But the real race for SEC dominance in sports all around is between Tennessee and Texas. No schools have won more all around sports than these two school. TN two years running but Texas is the only other school that is close. So get used to TN vs Texas in everything.. A matchup long overdue. Only ever played each other 3 times in football. All Cotton Bowls. Hadn't played each other in football since the 69 Cotton Bowl.

I’m a longhorn fan and ever since their last championship appearance it’s hard to believe any hype from them. So many years they have the hype but they never live up to it. Also Texas is the same kind of team that would beat Georgia and finish the year with 1 loss, but that loss would be to Vanderbilt. Lol

Not counting transfers cannot keep going. Quinn Ewers is a transfer. This system counts Arch Manning, but not Quinn Ewers. Arch will probably not play significantly this year. So far it is working out, but Texas main weapons are transfers (QB, WR,DL, return man). It can't be that hard to include transfers, since we know what they were back when.

The overall truth is this. The NIL and portal have been the best for all other programs that aren't Alabama and UGA. There is a huge difference in what they were recruiting before NIL and what they are now. They used to get the best of the blue chips, now the media is having to do fake cartwheels for Bama and UGA just getting a blue chips and maintaining high recruiting classes. The NIL and portal is now a grind and most older coaches can't handle the extra load. Now, starting this year those schools like most others have harder schedules. No longer can UGA and Bama avoid each other for six years for a regular season game. Parity all around.

Had a hard time talking when yall brought up ole miss and what kiffin has done there. Immediately went to bashing kiffin on his past programs and what ole miss hasn’t been able to do. Like no one knows ole miss hasn’t played for a national championship, we know and we are well aware of that. Oh they haven’t beat lsu @lsu since 2008. Those are just stats and idk how many coaches they’ve been through since that game. It’s a new yr, got some great talent, the offensive is gonna be unstoppable m, the defense will be more improved. When Brent was at Clemson he could have taken a lot of head coaching jobs. Especially after the two championships. Brent chose Oklahoma and he is not going anywhere. OU takes care of their head coaches. The only school that he could make a case was Clemson. They got to experience Brent like we did and they love him out there as well. Brent is setting a good foundation for Oklahoma in which was needed a long time ago.

Things change. The fact that Auburn, Florida, Oklahoma, USC, Penn State and TAM are in this "blue chip championship" list render it obsolete. Transfer portal, NIL, 12 team playoff have completely altered the CFB landscape. Blue chip recruiting is still a factor but no longer the ruling lock for a championship.
