How do they choose a presentation language for the military. I thought the majority spoke German. I can definitely hear the soldiers speaking it. But the narration is in French.

This is incredible, it surpasses movies, games, and even reality by far. I used to be a Vietnam Black Beret, but isn't this movement amazing? The movement is amazing, everyone watch! Such intense training habits are ingrained in them. Back when I was a Black Beret, I don't know if I could have won in battle. But this amateur video shows soldiers with such a high level of perfection, it's amazing. I've never seen anything like this, not in Vietnam, Israel, or even in America 🇺🇸

First: As a swiss I was in service from 1980 until 1996 and in the 80ies it was usual to have a great maneuver like this. But this is a film! In realitiy it was very different from what you see here.

This is the training protocol of every healthy Swiss man once they turn 20 years of age (in the 1970's/80's) as part of their Recruiting Time (4 months) and repetitive courses each year of 3 weeks until they've done 8 courses. After that every second year for 2 weeks until the age of 40(?). It's a militia army like the Israelis and only homeland defence (or Blue Helmets).

Even after 30 years not being active in the Swiss army, I am sure I can handle rifles, PAL, hand granates, bazookas and many weapons they introduced to us in the 1970's in no time. It's a miliz army like the Israeli and not just a short therm of service.

I do have my FFL/SOT to prove if needed, but Im considering buying a really nice Stgw57 that comes with intact fire control parts, but I have to assume the carrier is ground down and Im going to have to weld it up and machine it bacn to post-sample glory

The Swiss military concept with the equipment was actually very well thought out. In my military career, I got to try it out.
