@@glennwillow5124 thanks. That is a big deal. As for work right now, there's no power, and there's no telling when it will be up and running again. I was out of work last night because of the storm, and I was out of work tonight because of no power. Hopefully tomorrow they'll have the power up and running. I have a couple of friends from Michigan, and they both like The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. My sister is from Kalamazoo Michigan. My sister is older than I am, but we get along really well.

@@glennwillow5124 I just got an email from my job. They are reopened. They reopened around 6 PM. They got power back around four, and were able to reopen around six. I sincerely apologized to my boss for not being there tonight. I don't think I will get in trouble. at least I hope not. I'm glad I can go back to work tomorrow. That's a relief.

In the end, a good player needs only one guitar to make good music, but it can be a challenge to find the right one. I was lucky in finding my Martin D-35 back in 1969. Still, for a quite a number of years after that I felt unworthy of that guitar. A person needs to learn how to get the best out of any guitar, and it takes time and experience. I have a demonstration of them on my RUclips channel. One is called RUSSIE, named for RUSSIE Taylor, who was an actress. The other one is called Wayne, named for RUSSIE's husband, Wayne Allwine. both he and his wife played Mickey and Minnie mouse after Walt Disney passing.

Hi Amanda, I'm glad you're back at work and that nobody was hurt. Stuff happens in life and you have to bend with the wind. It sounds like your restaurant has had some very bad luck. I have taken a little break from music because of visitors coming in the summer and because of physical work that needs to be done around my place. I need another week to finish the work and then I will work on some new music. They did find the Edmund Fitzgerald on the bottom of Lake Superior and that's how they figured out what happened and why it sank. I'm doing okay; I hope you are well. Take care, - Glenn

@@fluteplayer8636 Hi Amanda, I am pretty rusty on when they found the Edmund Fitzgerald, but I do believe it was on the floor of Lake Superior. The hull was in two pieces, literally broken in two. From the Internet, "Underwater surveys. From May 20 to 28, 1976, the U.S. Navy dived on the wreck using its unmanned submersible, CURV-III, and found Edmund Fitzgerald lying in two large pieces in 530 feet (160 m) of water." Regarding my work experience, I was not in the military but I did work extensively with the US Navy as a technical rep. on testing and repairing nuclear submarines for quite a number of years. I was on call 24/7 for all those years, so I did kind of feel like I was in the military even though I was a civilian. It was a good experience. I came out of that experience with huge respect for the Navy. Be well out there, Amanda. - Glenn

I like it when Mr. Lightfoot tells you the Great Lakes using the following lines. Lake Huron rules, superior sings, and the rooms of ice water mansion. Old Michigan steams like a young man's dreams, the islands and bays are for sportsman. And farther below lake Ontario, takes in what lake Erie can send her. And the iron boats go as the Mariners all know what the gales of November remembered. I wonder what he means. I like the way Mr. Lightfoot rights, because it is literally poetry. @@glennwillow5124 wow. They did discover her wreckage on the bottom of lake superior in 1976. She was lying in two large pieces. I'm talking about the ship. I love the way they referred to ships as she or her. They thought she was very steady, but in reality, she was not. Even though you were not in the military, thank you for serving the time you did in the Navy. even if you are not in the military and you are considered a civilian but you work for the military, you are considered a veteran. You are right. They did find the Edmund Fitzgerald on the bottom of Lake superior. Her hall was literally cracked in half, and she was lying in two large pieces. This was in 1976. This was by a navy submarine submersible. Even if you are not actually serving in the military, but you are a civilian working with the military, then I think you are still considered a veteran. I'm not sure. Even so, thank you for serving our country. aren't you retired now? What else did you do for work? I'm glad to be back at work myself. Bj’s is had some pretty hard luck, but for some reason, we've managed to come out on top.
