@illow5124 Thanks. I mistakenly used D'Addario XS on mine. Not good. I'll try the XT, but I have Elixirs to use first. The guitar came new with D'Addario EXP38 in 2019 and I had used those until they quit making them. They were really good strings.
@@itsjustmeMike527The XT strings are the older type, now no longer made. The XS are the new type. My experience on my 6-strings is that the XS strings sound really good, but I have not tried them on my 12-string yet. Uncoated strings are cheaper and always sound better, but lose their brilliance over a month or two and then you have to change them again. As you know, on a 12-string that's a pain.
