It’s tough given how many motorcycle channels are out there now. I only subscribe to those that teach me how to do maintenance, accessories, upgrades, and/or various bike reviews.

An AirTag under the seat gives me comfort that, at least I will know where it is if it gets stolen.

I bought this very same bike this past February. Bike only had 1400 miles on it. Everything was going just fine until I spotted a leak and had to have my water pump replaced. What?!!! With only 1400 miles, I wasn’t expecting this at all. Needless to say, wasn’t happy about this. Will this happen again in another 1400 miles? I don’t know. Where did you get the seat cowl, and were the decals already on it or did you purchase those separately?

Thanks KG for a very helpful video. Recently brought one here in the UK and used it for the first time on a trip to France with a couple of friends. Sadly they both had Sena so were able to use mesh which made life awkward. So much so I lost them on the way back home. However you have solved one issue for me when you said about connecting to the phone app for music. We did manage to speak to each other at times during our trip but it kept dropping out. My mates kept telling me that for bike to bike chat I needn't go through the app were they correct. When its working its great but I just need to know whether I am using it correctly. 10,500 miles 😮 Are you actually kidding me 🤷‍♂️ I thought I was doing really well nursing my Corsa 2's and getting 3,500 miles out of them before they ran out of rubber. And I'm hoping to get at least that many miles out of the Power 5's I'm running now. I must be doing something that you're not doing, or you're doing something that I'm not doing 🤷‍♂️

I just bought a 2018 with 1,016 miles on it. The very first thing I did was change out that whale tail. Gone. New windscreen, levers (brake & clutch) and exhaust are coming soon. I'm still getting used to the clutch friction zone, seems really long to me. Hoping the new clutch lever will change that. Thanks for sharing this video, well done.

Just bought a 2014 CBR650F for $3700 with 2300 original miles. Matte Black all stock. Love this bike. Great power! Ive had a White with black and blue striped 2016 Cbr500r for the past 3 years and absolutely loved that bike too. Got lots of compliments everywhere. I was just ready for more power and didnt like the way to bars set too low on the Cbr600rr. So this 650f is a perfect transition for me. Mods I've done so far are tail tidy kit and led tail light with integrated turn signals, led headlight. Also, had to switch the flasher relay for an led one to eliminate the hyper flash. Mods on order...gold grips and levers, black windscreen from Thailand Lol, gold sliders and engine guard and gold windshield bolts. Cant wait for them too arrive. Next I plan on painting some of the silver parts to matte black and change the exhaust to full racing Akroponic. Love this bike so far. Keeping the 500r for a little bit right now. Sentimental reasons and its paid off....Lol. Enjoy Brothas!

I have a 2017 Blade (same version as yours)., but with ABS and the quick shifter. I live in the UK, and I understand the US bikes are restricted to lower the emissions? I believe you lose around 20 BHP. Have you had your bike remapped?

I’m not sure what you’re experiencing with engine breaking, but my experience and understanding is completely different than yours. The higher the level of any setting is how much intervention is involved you cannot add more engine braking to an engine with a closed throttle. Therefore, the intervention is the throttle plate itself opening up. That means that EB1 as very little, if any engine, breaking mitigation EB 2 keeps the throttle butterflies opened a little bit and finally EB3 keeps the throttle butterflies open even more. Under 5000 RPM there’s really no difference. Above 5000 RPM you can tell the higher the EB number the more the bike free wheels. I challenge you to try this out and record your results and compare side-by-side

0:42... is that real? you dont need this kind of tyres for such a low leaning angle riding. Better buy some michelin tourer... they will last double. I mean, appart from the middle of the tyre, they are like new !!!! i can see even those little new hairs on the shoulders

I know the feeling, to say it sucks is a understatement....its always the simple things that go wrong that cause these situations....as it happens its going to be a simple fix it seems but still....

Ouch, most important thing is that your ok. Things happen over the simplest of reasons but looks like it's not too bad but you could have been fully loaded up for a trip or hit someone. Ride safe buddy 🙏🙏🥳🥳

I guess you've got a separate steering lock on your bike, all of mine are built into the ignition, you can't start the bike without unlocking it. Still thankfully the damage was negligible and won't be costly to repair.

That sucks mate. But we have all been there.
