Over 30 years of riding and did not think of starting a RUclips channel of course there was no RUclips when I started riding. But 7 months ago I decided to start a channel and hell I love it , Great video brother 🇺🇸👍👍👍

The Kleb and Sub D got me interested, because it looked like fun. Then I realized it would be a perfect journal of memories. I had garbage cameras to start...then a really cool guy from Oz, Bobber400 sent me a camera that I still use to this day. The vlogger community is awesome, and I'm glad I started. When I'm 80 I can binge watch my younger, fun days.

Glad you haven't given in to frustration because you make pretty cool videos and I like the topics you talk about. Return to riding after 20 years away and wanted to focus on safety training. Folks don’t care to hear that stuff but I will continue on my journey. Keep it up. Ride safe.

I don't know man...I can get awfully angry at myself sometimes!! 😂. I always ride MY ride. And I actually think it's a bit safer to vlog at slower speeds. I need to focus when I'm going a bit quicker. That's hard to do when I'm running my mouth! 😁
Interesting subject. Had my channel over 12 years, for most of that time, it was used as a personal diary of our travels. A kind of a dumping ground for ride clips. It was the comments section and folks like Hippo-Drones that persuaded us/me to try and make better vids to try and appeal to a wider audience.
Hell yeah, it's cool to hear the backstory!! I definitley don't regret starting mine but I agree, the hill to climb is super steep and sometimes it feels like it's angling over top or vertical

Great video mate, I always loved the idea of making videos for my own video diary and it progressed into vlogging, but still for me however anyone else is welcome to watch. I never look at analytics, it just consumes your time and becomes depressing. Do it for you. If you make it, they will come ⚾️
I mainly do it for me. There are some videos I know aren't going to do well, but I wanted to make them, so I did. But also, since I am putting them out there for the world to watch, I try to make them enjoyable. Analytics can be depressing, I stay away from those as much as I can! Thanks Phil!!
I tried launching my channel. It stopped right after visiting the clown motel in tonopah, NV lol. I just wanted to capture the memories of all the places i went to and youtube would be an easy place to store everything to view it later on in life or show people where i've been. My issue is literally i work so much i am exhausted by time i have a day off after working 12's+ that i stopped.
If you are doing 12's then I don't blame you!! Trying to find time just doing 8 and a half is hard enough! Nice to have the memories, but you have to sleep too.
That was cool hearing about origins starting in riding and YouTubing. Douche bags are everywhere in the world, in all works of life. That's what it's about for me, having fun doing what I do. You're spot on with all you've said. Good video, Kode. Ride well. Cheers

Nice video. 👍 I started my channel cause I was watching alot of motovloggers and noticed that there was Noone from my area and I was bored at the time, so I started it. I wasn't expecting much out of it, because I am not much of a talker. But gave it a shot. Then I noticed a couple of others near by started channels. 🤣🤣 But anyways, I enjoy vlogging even though I am not that great at it.
I haven't been lucky enough to find any motovloggers near me yet. There are some within a few hour ride, but none really close to me. That I know of anyway!! Thanks Roy!!
Reese Rides and Feed on Speed are some good sports bike channels. I don't care what someone rides, if they are entertaining/informational and fun. I'll watch.

It’s tough given how many motorcycle channels are out there now. I only subscribe to those that teach me how to do maintenance, accessories, upgrades, and/or various bike reviews.
I remember about 10 years ago a buddy asked me if I was gonna switch from moto blogging to vlogging... I said no way. He was like, really???? You sure???? Biggest mistake of my life. The competition and quality was so low ten years. It's definitely way harder now. People have an endless source of stuff to watch from creators all over the world. We're all too late lol

The douche bag ratio in motorcycles is sadly, quite high (not just here on RUclips, but in general). One of the best things that happened to me being a RUclipsr is the friends that I have made along the way. One thing I have found being a Moto Vlogger on RUclips is that the attrition rate is quite high. There are alot of channels that have stopped producing content. Some have even been deleted all together.
