I’ve had an order in with Rama since November 2021 for a M-65C and keycaps. Just wrote them May 8, 2024 and again on June 20th, 2024 asking if it’s possible to get a refund since the products still aren’t ready. Here we are on September 1, and I haven’t gotten a response.

So, I just can buy rge Qk65 v2 guard and put some he switches and It'll work just fine?

What separates topre from membrane if they both have basically the same construction?

I use halleffecs for the sound, gateron jades to be exact, and the fell is just perfect, smoth and boncy

Keyboard sound in videos is never what it sounds like IRL. Always amped up in videos. It's a much more chill, relaxing sound in person, not unlike the key feel. Everything about Topre is zen. Chill.

This board is so perfect for me, the only thing holding me back is the $40 usd delivery from canada and currecny conversion fees

I got the c1 as a replacement for my broken redragon k673, I bought it for 49 aswell because it was cheap and it was a keychron, didnt think id love it this much

Good idea but poorly implemented. If they used real hot-swappable switched and keycaps, better ergonomics this would have been a hit

i'm just poking my head into keyboard design from the world of synth module and guitar pedals. the PCB, component ordering and soldering skills transfer over but 3D enclosure CAD is a whole new ballgame. one thing i learned many times over is the first version of something will have issues, no matter how careful you are with planning. until you have the physical product in your hands for building and testing there are some things you will miss. you want to be doing it for the fun and challenge much more so than trying to save money (let alone time). luckily it's super fun!

Hey mate can you see in their software if they have an option to change the layout so you can use split backspace? I know the plate doesn't support it but I can work around that.

Cool video. I have the Topre Realforce 105UB 45g in German Layout. Unfortunately it suffers from an water damage and I can't use it anymore. I might order another one in the future. But now I am stuck with a Rubberdome Keyboard.

Get any board with hyperglide blacks and an topre board and be done with keyboards forever. Your wallet will thank you.

I really just wish someone released simple wedge korean tkls without any fluff, kind of like the kbd8x mk2, but with compatibility for the jane v2/ce plates. Ideally, a plain anodized bottom case with a simple uncoated weight, two top cases in f13 or f12, a hineybush pcb, lots of plate options. I don't want my board to stick out, I just want simplicity.
