Wooting is working on a 60 alu case, a 75 layout board, even planning to sell the pcb module by itself, continuing to elevate themselves higher. I would say availability is a bigger challenge than price. They're selling out like hotcakes as is, so it could be some time before these next products become readily available.
I'm anxiously waiting for the pcb module (and have heard both on their discord AND via socials-E-Mail) that this was announced for start in August (if everything goes to plan, that is) - but I can't find the announcement anywhere. Since I'll be modding the ever-loving hell out of the board and have no use for the case, the module would be perfect for me. Where was this announced? I trust they're not BS'ing me, but I'd really like to see this gosh darn official announcement.
Being able to take the internals of the wooting and drop it into a tofu and a list of other 60% cases is a huge feature. A top tier gaming board you can so easily turn into a custom make it hard to pass
@@oumac and the steel series is even more accessible than the deer will be what’s your point? I wanted tachyon mode and the ability to swap cases whenever I wanted and that’s what my comment was about. Also chose the wooting because they were using the Hall effect and I didn’t like the Omni effect the Steele series used but I use Gateron switches in I think 5 of my 6 keyboards so that may just be a mental thing. There will always be copies and knockoffs of almost everything but I only plan on buying 1 and I got it in a week after I ordered mine so accessibility doesn’t matter much in my personal opinion. I’m used to group buys
@@Nekst_Level I apologize, I misspoke by "accessible" i should have said affordable. I'm talking about the financial side. A G65 costs around 104$ and the possibility of having it for 94$ without the keycaps. For availability, it is undeniable that the Steel series is number 1 in your local store. Finally I recognize that the 60% format is much easier to mod than a 75% or even a 65% like the G65. But my comment was only there to talk about the new 65% version which is a version which is a little closer to a Wooting 60HE and for an even lower price even if the features are still better on the Wooting 60 HE. I hope to be clearer this time and again sorry for the misunderstanding at the beginning, English is not my first language. ^^"
First step on the way to building enough clout to get some review units from Elaine!! Joking aside, appreciated your take on this, I feel like it was a very thoughtful review catered to the appropriate audience with some of your perspective from the custom side thrown in, much appreciated!
competition is always good period. but so far they are so hidden, and this video might be the only place ive heard it from so far, they really need to start sending out to live streamers and youtubers. the end game would be whatever case we want matchs the hall effect switch, given the typing and sound are not altered, or at least as nice.
Ultimately this video convinced me to get a wooting, nice review though I was waiting for more compelling alternatives to the wooting but in the end there might not be any
I love Hall Effect as a switch mechanism and I'd love to see more manufacturers go towards those kinds of switches. I only sold my Wooting 60HE because I didn't like the high pitched upstroke sound of the Lekker switch, it just bothered me way too much personally. This keyboard sounds a lot nicer though and I might consider adding it to my collection.
What mouse is this? Looks awesome! And thanks for your great videos. And to answer your last question: Every game I play doesn't need such features, so I stay with the normal custom keyboards. It`s a funny gimmick that might be important for some games, but overall you don't need it. A good haptic sound and optic is much more important for me.
Really would like to know if those black abs caps are double shot. Steel series apex pro does what this does through (I think) optical switches with a greater range of actuation. Feel like I need to try this. The wooting has the same switches for more money and doesn't look as good.
Sorry if i missed this during the video but did you state the weight of the switch? This is only important for me as i'm an osu player and it matters in the long run if I were to purchase this as an osu keyboard. Thanks :)
The weight doesn’t seem to be specified on the site - they don’t feel particularly heavy (subjectively) but they do offer different weight springs on their site now for the switches
how does the rapid trigger feature compare between the two? is it basically the same? cause i play valorant a lot and thinking about getting wooting but i dont want to wait like a month for delivery. If this keyboard is basically wooting but cheaper, bigger and less modding (which i dont care about) then im for sure getting this. And from what i saw the actuation point is essentially the same as well.
Better feature yes, but this one will feat to many simple user. And for a way cheaper price. But if you want the best option wooting is the way you are correct.
Keyboard noob here, what keycaps are compatible? My first day wanting to get custom keycaps and I dont see the layout/specs of a75 on their site or anywhere
i bought this one (white color) and it was advertised as "TKL keyboard with magnetic switch that allows rapid trigger" on Amazon. Does this make sense? I heard from Wooting blog that, to implement rapid trigger feature, a keyboard needs to be analog keyboard instead of TKL keyboard. Do I have to return Drunkdeer A75 if it is fake rapid trigger with TKL keyboard?
*sniff* I can't believe Charo is a Genshin player 😭😭😭 In regards to the keyboard, considering I don't really play FPS that much anymore, and taking in consideration my other games (character action games, fighting games, and Tetris), I honestly don't see me using the advantages of this that much. Exploded 75% also ain't my vibe. Outside of that, a pretty impressive product for those who have a use for it.
i need to sask how do you set up the never miss foction ?? i activated the secondary sensitivity but it doesnt reset a this 2nd point....only the first one.

Are they actually working on a TKL version? 😄 That would be amazing for me ❤❤😊

@@GewaltOfRiwia Source on the 75%? I can't find anything that confirms this.
Thank you for this amazing review of DrunkDeer A75!

That’s precisely the reason I bought one. It’s a gaming keyboard that’s appearance can easily be hidden in a sleeker body.
there is now a new version DrunkDeer G65 more accessible =)

The dream hahah - proper appreciate that man, thank you!
These HE switches sound much better than the Lekker one's from what I could tell from the sound test
They are nicer. Take less force to actuate too.

If I hadn't just got the Wooting 60HE I might have been interested in this. You are correct, it took about a month to get the Wooting.

I wish they would make an aimpad/numpad like additional keyboard. Most people already got a 65/75 keyboard at this point already.
What's should i buy this or apex pro?
I don't sure what buy, what's you think are better

All Charo is missing to become a tier 1 kb youtuber is that +6db gain from keyboard sound tests

Yeah I would really appreciate a steel board at the very least fro ROG Steelseries etc.

New Joe comment 🖤
They have rapid trigger now which makes it a even better buy
Any other keyboards that can compete with wootings hall effect?
only one that really comes close is the steelseries apex pro at 0.2-3.8mm
0.4mm is four times a larger distance than the wooting
Sorry if i missed this during the video but did you state the weight of the switch? This is only important for me as i'm an osu player and it matters in the long run if I were to purchase this as an osu keyboard. Thanks :)

It can act like a car pedal accelerator does right? Like the razer analog

Can these switches be put into the Wooting 60 HE PCB? I’d like to try out these switches instead of the Lekker ones but I use the wooting currently
the 60% is coming ! " DrunkDeer G65" so same format than the wooting =)
I still think wooting is far better considering it has double movement
