Anyone who has transported isn't the original person just a copy, the original is disassembled and the data of how they were put together is sent and a copy of that is made, so transporters are more like people sized repicators. (Example: in STNG when the found the other Riker. Q: Which was original version? A: Nether they are both copies just there was only supposed to be one.)

Season Two reminding me why Janeway was my lesbian awakening as a teen.

I love that the captain of the Orion ship, in some way, gave credit to Astria Tendi for the discovery of the portal, even though (at least to our knowledge) the only significance she had was being related to the Lower Decks Tendi. Maybe it was respect for the timestream. Maybe she was actually a chief officer on the ship. Whatever happened, the captain sidelined his own pride to support his crew and I love that.

I kinda blew off Lower Decks, but I liked SNW so much that when I saw this was coming, I figured I should watch it just to get the added context of this episode, and I'm I did!

SO SICK OF THESE NEW SERIES TRASHING TOS CANON!!! Kirk and the Enterprise encountered the Gorn FOR THE FIRST TIME in the TOS episode Arena. The Gorn were a mysterious and completely unknown species when Pike was in command. Why all the complaints about "wokeness" when these series are taking a huge dump on continuity?!
