Janeway drawing the line this animated series works the writting the characters growing soo much adding wesley is the cherry on top why cant this be live action but its really good animation.
It's so much better as animation than it would be as live action, though! Like, look at those alien designs! Look at those otherworldly vistas! Look at all of the incredible things that they would never be able to show in live action because they would break the budget!
Do you think the captains sometimes sit down just so they can momentarily pause, pose, and then dramatically get up? I'm not saying I don't like it nor am I saying I don't enjoy it, just respecting the instinct. ;-P
(I know it's on Netflix but..) Nickelodeon: "okay you can't have on screen death in a kids show" Star Trek Prodigy: "That's fine. We're just gonna unexist people." Nickelodeon: "That sounds safe" *show airs" Nickelodeon: WHAT THE ****
Did they pitch the audio down to avoid copyright because Janeway and The Doctor sound very different from what I remember? I know they (the actors) are older now but still.
@@WarGrowlmon18you should assume someone watching prodigy clips and making orville references is deeply aware. Star trek has lost quite a few steps in recent years so giving orville OG status is also another “in the know” joke.
Star trek died with std Picard season 3 was great the end of prodigy was great a return to trek with a new crew a sleek fast ship it was great and I hope we get a season 3
I want to smack whatever modern star trek creator thought that the main screen of the bridge was just a forcefield out to open space instead of what it atually had been before; a Solid bulkhead which had a large projection screen showcasing footage from a live camera feed from camera's positioned on the outer frame of the ship. That's what it had been from TOS in 1966 through the end of Enterprise in 2005; with all the tech manuals of every ship before that point showcasing that, and the shows themselves presented such as when they would turn it on, and they would SAY "Main screen on". Of all the nu-trek stuff since the Kelvin timeline movies, that is the biggest thing that just drives me crazy as it's just THAT PLAIN IDIOTIC as this creature coming through the screen showcases. it is the literal example of why you don't put a screen door on a freaking submarine. Having stuff like this undermines depiction of your cast characters and setting as it's legitimately just THAT Stupid that it reflects poorly on everything else being done, even to someone who might have at one point been open to new casts and stories. But the dumber you make a setting like this, the less engaging it is; especially when you then have charcters deliberately act stupid but the storytelling is so bad it makes excuses and justifies to idiocy.
Nope, the Loom treats practically all matter (unless it's created by Wesley's buddies, the Travellers) as merely an inconvenience. So, they literally went right through the hull like it was nothing.
Lol. This should have been what the show was originally. Future adventures of the Berman-era Trek crews in animated form...... not the lame-ass cadet characters. The show wouldn't have been cancelled if it focused on the characters that fans already care for.
How do you suppose those characters came to be in the first place? Oh yea! By focusing on new random characters instead of ones people already cared about. Stop being so stuck in the past and try giving the new a fair shot to stand on it's own rather than shackling it to the expectations of what came before it, strange new worlds, discovery, lower decks, Picard and prodigy are all individual shows, they are not TOS, next gen, enterprise, voyager, TAS or ds9 and should not be expected to be those things.
@@adambrown6669 Nah. Back then they had Ron Moore, Gene Roddenberry and other talents crafting these characters. Nu Trek has hacks who really don't understand sci-fi or basic storytelling. Not surprised the Prodigy characters didn't find a sustainable audience.
If the show did that they’d have run out of stories to tell a LONG time ago News flash. THE STAR TREK IS MICH BIGGER THAN ANY CHARACTER WE MET BEFORE. Idiot!

You mean... THE JANE-WAY!?
"Take 20milligrams of Vengeance..." Robert Picardo is Fantastic!
We all need a bit of picardo in our lives
Keep your shirt tucked in, go down with the ship, and never abandon a member of your crew.

A classic line from the doctor 💙
Damn those creatures must have eaten the coffee replicators which explains Janeway’s “ripley mode”
This is Janeway at 1% of her power. I believe that the Dominion War would have lasted half as long (if at all) if Voyager wasn’t in the Delta Quadrant
Or if you take away her coffee

Janeways Definitely a woman you want on your side and she's got great motherly and grandmotherly energy going for her
thats my janeway
Did they just killed some crewmember on a kids show? 😱
they were erased, they did not die but they never existed, no one remembers them 😭 so much worse
Join Starfleet they said . You’ll never die in ironic circumstances they said …

Hey - it's the guy who played Talla's father on The Orville!
You mean father of Alara Kitan.
Yeah he's The Doctor in Star Trek. He's had that role much longer than the Orville's been around

Red Alert!!!!
Why weren't they already at red alert when they went into combat?

Why is the bridge a window?
Been that way since day one, though its usually a backup to the screen if I remember right.

pretty sure that's not a forcefield. Pretty sure that's a window.
