- After the STLV USS Voyager-A reveal for the upcoming Season 2 of Star Trek Prodigy I couldn't help myself... This one is for all the Star Trek: Voyager fans who have been waiting over 20 years to see Voyager and it's legacy return to our screens.
CHILLS. Voyager is what made me fall in love with Trek and will always mean a lot to me.
praise be Janeway
NICE!
Music from the end of the 37’s! One of my favorite episodes! Great choice! Love it!
Okay... so am I one of the only people ready to watch Prodigy S.2 PRIMARILY because of the VOYAGER A??? So much nostalgia, I could DIE! LOL!!! This is going to be AWESOME!!!!
She looks like a hybrid cross between an intrepid and sovereign class!
Beautifully done... :)
We really need, "VOYAGER: THE NEW ADVENTURES or THE NEXT GENERATION".! ...Tanking the E.M.H..with them..explaining why we never see him again, in S.T: PICARD.
I think we will be getting some of that in Prodigy from Season 2 onward.
Mulgrew did mention she would like to get the entire cast of VOY back on that show... so, Prodigy is kinda a continuation of Voyager
Is that an Oddessey class???
It’s a Lamarr Special Class science vessel.
@@Ruinen00129 decks & crew of 800! It’s larger than a Sovereign class.
@@Ruinen001just Lamarr-Class, but yeah, she’s a special science vessel. She’s similar in size to the Sovereign at almost 700 meters, has 29 decks, and 800 crew.
@@tringuyen7519Huh... the Sovereign class had 24 decks... though deck 26 was reported in First Contact. Also, the class did undergo a refit prior to Nemesis movie which included more phaser strip coverage and additional torpedo tubes... so its possible a few more decks were added to it.
So, overall, yes, the Voy-A seems larger than the Sovereign class (but if I'm not mistaken, even the ENT-E had 800 crew - but no reported schools onboard).
Lamarr Class, probably named after inventor Hedy Lamarr, the inventor who laid the groundwork for today’s WiFi technology.
To this day, I still hate gel packs.
I don't... they DO make sense from a computer evolutionary point... but the way they were compromised by bacteria was a bit stupid... then again, the ship underwent modifications so that Neelix could cook in it, but I suspect they never accounted for this possibility.
@deksroning125 Well, I would like to think that the Federation would be above such things, but the damn packs were so failure-prone and resistant to work-arounds that they set off every 'planned obsolescence' alarm I have.
@@richardhinshaw2116 the gel packs literally fell prone to infection twice. Once with the cheese and the second time with the macro virus - though only 1 gel pack was affected, so it's possible that the crew insulated the pack network to prevent the cheese incident spreading.
Then again we have seen that sf officers were frequently portrayed as idiots for the sake of drama, so these mishaps and learning from ones mistakes was ignored sometimes
That... looks rather bad. As if one took the armored Voyager from "Endgame" and smashed it against a Sovereign. I don´t like Prodigy overall, this does not change my opinion. Kinda glad they are not continueing it.
It is continuing. It's a fantastic show and deserves to get a chance to finish telling its story which I'm glad it's getting.
The show is continuing on Netflix, and its actually THE best new Trek shows that were released.
@@deksroning125 Wow, didn´t know someone could have such incredibly low standards.
@@robertmandl9326Actually my standards aren't low.
Compared to Picard and Disco, Prodigy Season 1 was the best.
Even other independent critics at the time of when S1 was airing said that Prodigy is the 'unexpected' Trek show that was the best of them all.
So, yeah, not the only one who thinks Pro was/is great.
If you don't like it, fair enough... you don't have to watch it, but the fact it was saved by the fanbase and is one of the best animated shows on Netflix speaks volumes.
@@deksroning125 Less than you think.
People complain about the at times poor writing in Discovery and Picard but Prodigy had so many idiotic moments its not even funny anymore.
Key examples was how they dumbed down everyone so they could reach the desired finale.
And that finale made absolutely no sense AND was poorly produced (multiple ships with the same name and or registry, not to mention the multiple Enterprises).
Neither Picard nor Discovery messed up that hard.
So this crap got renewed after all. Lets see if it makes it past that second season.
Picard had 3, Disco 5. I'm willing to bet it won't make 5 and currently I doubt it will get 3 done.
As for what people do and don't like: even shitstains have worshippers.
Good day.
Voyager would have been great with a male captain, I just can not watch anything with females in charge. Same reason I never watched discovery. If they want any show to be a hit, they will go back to straight women chasing white male human captains and admirals and leave women in support roles. Kirk is the type of person they need to copy
You do realize..that this proves that you are an out of date sexist racist right. Go back to the 1800s, when women were still property.
Mommy issues?
voyager is the first show i ever watched in star trek, i nearly stopped watching at the first episode cause i was a bit shaky with classic shows and me going back to it is the reason i love watching all star treks today and it really helps with my depression, 07 voyager 🫡
