Oh, no! I'm so sorry it didn't work for you. I found a new spray at PetSmart you might consider. It's called Cat Pet Block Spray by Nature's Miracle. It smells fine to people but our cat hates it. It's really helped us.

It didn't really take as much time as it looks, I think. Maybe 3-4 hours? I spent a lot more time a year and a half putting ribbon on a tree the wrong way (and just about crying because I couldn't make it look good). Spending time on RUclips studying how to do it last year was a good move. :-)

I'm glad you like it. I learned to do that from watching RUclips videos last year. The ribbon on the tree the year before was pathetic. Even my family thought so. I decided I better learn how to do it and have had such fun since. Happy birthday to you too! 🎂

That cake recipe is a keeper! I love that you do a chocolate cream cheese frosting, too! It's perfect. I think that using less powdered sugar sounds like the thing to do because it can get so sweet. I'll have to try it next year. I get most of my T-shirts and sweatshirts from Temu and Etsy. I LOVE Barnes & Noble too. I was just there today because I needed some inspiration. I love to get those amazing Blood Orange/Dark Chocolate bars they have and treat myself this time of year. So good!

That's such a good idea! I wish I had done that. We were in the Air Force (my husband was, anyway) and we could have had fun collecting things. But at least, I've collected things from the years we've been married so there are lots of memories in my bins.

So wonderful to finally meet you! Thanks much for sticking with me all of these years. It's very encouraging! Wow - I bet it did take years. It's taking me almost a year to get my hair that long. I've often wondered if 2020 would have been a good year to do it, because we were all isolated, but I didn't decide to grow my hair out until January. Maybe someday I'll decide to do it myself!

Because I didn't want to risk ruining the tree. I'm glad I didn't. The spray kept the cat away from the bottom of the tree, so that's good. Since I made this video, I've found a different spray that you can use directly on the tree, furniture, or anything you want to keep your cat away from and it smells good. The cat hates it, but people don't mind it. Our cat goes running if I bring the bottle out. I got it at PetSmart. It's named Nature's Miracle Cat Pet Block Spray. Hope that helps!

@@elizabethsolomon2864 Actually, this was real. I was so burned out that I fully intended to stop. I was going to give myself until January to make the final decision. Then I started asking myself why I wasn’t having fun and why I stopped having fun. Suddenly, I knew the answer and I decided to make fun videos and to stop looking at stats. If it still didn’t work, I would quit in January. But it worked. I’m making different videos and am having fun again. I made this video because I had been gone long enough that people were wondering what happened to me. I felt that I owed them an explanation. So that’s what this video is about. Hope it helps you understand a bit more. No clickbait intended.

I wish I could. Back in the days when I owned a company, I had someone come in. I couldn’t do that now, so I just do the best I can when I can. My daughter maintains the apartment in the basement, which keeps her busy. Both of my sons do some chores. My husband helps cook and do dishes some. I’m happy about anything they can do. The laundry and general cleaning are mine to do though. When I’m sick, it really gets behind because they just don’t see it. A little at a time… I was just barely reminding myself that “it’s not a race.”

It’s fun to decorate the bedroom. I’ve had a lot of luck with Temu. I read the reviews very, very carefully which helps. I noticed that they had a lot of pretty Christmas quilts this year. 😊

That sounds great! I ended up buying some gold ribbon for my tree in the living room, but nothing else. It had enough fun stirring what I own around. I finished the tree today so you'll be seeing it soon. Live poinsettias are great! I'm in the process of trying to decide what to do about gifts this year. It's a little tricky when the kids live with you, but I can't keep up what I used to do. I kind of have my head buried in the sand at the moment... Ham & football!

It sounds like we have some things in common. (Sorry that you have it too.) I have osterioarthritis in my fingers/hands/wrists/knees etc. I have some fingers that are starting to show it. My mom's hands were really gnarly later in life. A hand doctor told me that yeah... mine would look like that too. Ha! Take your time is the only way I can do it now. :-)

Oh. Ack. The visual of that... SO TRUE! I am buried in battery-powered twinkle lights here. I just finished the living room tree today. It's (if I may say so) gorgeous. I can't wait for you to see it. It's amazing what can be done with just some mixing things up. The only new thing I bought was some gold ribbon. You'll see it soon!

Omgosh YES to tracking all of THAT into your home!!! *YUCK!!!* And amen to the batteries! My MIL is obsessed with battery-powered lights, candles, glowing things, both indoors and out. She's been trying to get me on board and I have to politely tell her I'm not interested. They're useful, sure, especially in emergencies, but I've already got stuff for those situations. Edit: Even if YOU don't use public bathrooms, other people do. And then they track it all over the stores, banks, libraries, etc that you walk in. I'm no germaphobe, but it's just plain gross.

@@katie7748 I got tired of the batteries going dead every 2-3 days!! Too much time and money spent. So I got some lights to plug in near the TV. Hopefully I'll be happy with those.
