Thank you for continuing to share authentic content. I recall a saying as god shuts a window he opens a door. One chapter might be over. It’s a chance to take a breath. Its wonderful to witness there are more couples like my parents. (With so much sadness and discontent in the world.) You share faith and hope it’s possible to forge a path through adversities.
I believe that too, meaning that when God closes a door, He opens a window. I’ve seen it so often in my life. The shock of the door closing is hard, but it always seems to turn out well eventually. I think these times build our faith. Thank you so much for your support and for reminding me of this. It was very helpful to me!
Hi Rozanne sending big hugs and love I love how kind and authentic you are!! Have you looked into the gut microbiome and fibromyalgia? We are gluten and dairy free with low sugar and are amazed at how well we became changing our diet...vitamin D? bromelain ?supplements might also help with the inflammation too...God bless and best of luck to you and your family ❤❤❤
@@jaywong147 I'm so happy to meet you. I've been working with some specialists for years, so we've been trying some things. I'm not sure I could ever hack gluten free! You're very strong. :-) I'll look into gut microbiome more. Thanks!
Hello my friend. I'm so sorry your husband lost his job. I'll be praying that God leads him and your family to the right job that will make him happy as well as sustain y'all. Beautiful words of wisdom. Thanks for sharing. I hope you are able to have a relaxing worry free weekend. XO
I’m going to read this! I’m such a worrier. I get it from my mother. I really love your videos and have helped my mindset so much. I pray your husband finds a prefect for him job. ❤
I think you'll like it. The style is older, but there is so much wisdom in the book. I'm so glad you like the videos. I'm really enjoying these types of topics because they are more natural to me - they are the kind of things I think about. :-) We appreciate your prayers!
I keep reminding myself of that. It can be so easy to slip into worrying about my husband's job. But when I catch myself doing it, I say, "Be in today. You can make today good." It helps.
I keep a list of things I'm grateful for in my prayer bible. It's very helpful when I forget about all my blessings. Thank you for encouraging us even when you are struggling! Praying your husband finds just the right job!
Rozanne, I’m so grateful that google algorithms were smart enough to introduce your content to me. I love your channel, I’m grateful for your wisdom and your faith. I’m a very happy new subscriber!
Thank you for this! Worrying makes anything worse. I can slip into analysis paralysis if I focus on the lack or issue to closely. In looking for a new job, there is no hint of "almost got one" which can send any brain into urgency. I hope your husband is able to use this time peacefully looking for something he identifies as better for him, in a company that appreciates what he has to offer.🙏🏻
You're so welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Worrying is so natural. It helps that when I find myself doing it, I slam the doors so I can stay in today's tight container. Gary's looking for work. He gets anxious, but I remind him that these things move slowly. Companies aren't in the same rush that potential employees are. Meanwhile, he's doing projects around here to keep him busy.
If your library or Kindle has Louise Hays book "you can heal your life", and anytime by Dr Joe Dispensa I highly recommend them. " Becoming Supernatural" and "Breaking the habit of being yourself" are the two Dr Joe Dispenza books I'm aware of but both of these authors have so many interviews and lectures available right here on RUclips.
I've actually owned three of Louise's books and used her pretty flash cards for years. The thoughts are nice and the artwork is fun to look at - makes it enjoyable. I think my favorite on is, "You are loved, loving, and lovable." That helped me when I wasn't sure I was lovable and I think, helped heal me of that idea.
@@TowardsASimpleLife if you're not familiar with her life story it was very inspirational. Her father left her and her mom or maybe he passed but her single mom ended up in abusive relationships. She was abused she left home and found a good husband and a church who taught her many of the concepts in her books. She got her mom away from the man who was hurting her. When she had cancer she realized she was hurt in that area of her body and held anger there. She began to love herself and speak kind words to herself. She changed her diet up and she healed of her cancer through only natural means no chemo. She self published her first book from her living room with her mother. Eventually she created Hay House Books and published many authors of spiritual and self help. She really was amazing and beautiful inside and out. I just love listening to her talks she's so soothing I'm her voice and uplifting. ❤️
Ooh I read that 30 years ago and my 20 year old son is reading my copy right now. It changed my younger self so much. Thank you for this video reminding me about some of the wisdom in that book. Sorry to hear about your husband’s job loss but I believe that God means for him to have something different. I will pray for you both.❤ I would love it if you would do a video about “As a man thinketh”.
I have the same wrinkle. I had it since I was in my twenties but now at seventy five I don’t even think about it. Till you mentioned it. I was a big thinker too. Still am. I’ve had so many blessings in my life and thankfull for them everyday. You are very inspirational. Bless you.
You are an answer to my prayers! I am so glad I found your channel. You have blessed my life in so many ways. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and letting us into your life. I will pray for you and your family. Just like you said when you bless others, blessing will come back to you. I'm sure our Heavenly Father has many blessings in store for you.
I remember when I first read this book "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie. I must have been in my 20's. I must have read it at least 30 years ago. Yes, I'm that old. I have always remembered the illustration you highlighted today about living in day-tight compartments and it has been something I have remembered over and over again through the years.. Thank you so much for bringing up this beautiful concept and talking about it from your own perspective. You have helped me so much! I Love all your videos. Have a wonderful day!
This was good and thought provoking. Hubby, too, lost his job unexpectedly (this was over a decade ago) He literally put out 250 applications. (He was 60 then) He was an engineer in the metal industry and ultimately got a job with our public school system in the custodial department. Did he love cleaning toilets at an elementary school in our city? No, but he did it so that his family was sheltered and fed. My point is that God will provide. It may be in an unfamiliar area but He will give the strength to do the job. I was hired (after over 30 years as a homemaker who homeschooled our seven kids for over 30 years) by a daycare here in our town. It was - and continues to be - a blessing. Both hubby and I found out that there is a real need to care for the children. Maybe your husband could drive a school bus? There is a genuine need here for more bus drivers, custodians, etc. I was thankful to hear that you do have food set aside to eat (we are from a farming background, too, so that wasn't a concern) I'm babbling now and just typing as I think of things. Will pray for your husband to get a job soon!
I appreciate this! I really appreciate your support and wisdom. I was just talking to my husband about it this morning. I told him that at his age (69) it's going to be hard to find the kind of job he used to have and besides, I think he'd hate it. It's better for him to make less and to find a job he'll like and be in a place he wants to be. He said he was just thinking about that. I believe it's all going to work out. God has a plan. :-)

Rozanne, this is so timely and encouraging. My husband too has lost his job😢 the job he had was very stressful and he hated the working conditions. But we need him to find a new one. 🙏🏻 but your video is encouraging ❤
What are the odds that this would happen to both of us at the same time? Wow. Gary feels the same way. His job was very stressful. It just about made him sick. We’re trusting that the Lord will help and take care of. You too!
There are still people today that believe positive thinking can cure chronic, debilitating illness. It’s unreal. People simply can’t understand unless they’ve lived the experience. I once worked with a man who thought I was making my back pain up (at the time I had multiple disc herniations). Years later, he called me-nearly in tears-because he developed a mild herniation in his low back and could no longer function. We, as disabled people, are forced to deal with our pain and the attitudes of others, unfortunately.
Welcome! Do you ever feel like you have so much on your mind that you end up worrying about it? How do you handle it? I'm so glad you're here today!
