@@barneysbimbles Makes me want to dig my MTB back out 😊 Meant to say, that fungi is from the polypore family I think. It looks the same as the one I saw at Operation Jackdaw. It causes white rot in a lot of broad leaf trees like beech etc.

Hi Amanda, yeah really quite impressed with Jack the rack, glad I bought it. The M34 lid came from a guy on Instagram called Pete Berwick. He doesn't sell them, just makes them in his spare time and is sometimes up for a swap 👍

Hi Tony, that is the Pocket Stove which was being made by Bob and Rose at BackpackingLight.co.uk (was also available at Ray Mears site). Bob and Rose retired a few months ago. The website was taken over by Valley and Peak, but unfortunately the stove appears to have been discontinued. It's a great shame because it's an awesome little stove. 👍

Hi Roo, thanks for checking out the channel and commenting. I've used the Dutch hooped bivvy a lot since that BCUK post in 2020 and still absolutely love it. It's a great bit of kit. I haven't actually used it since this Dartmoor video so I'll have to get it out again over the coming months. Personally I think this and the standard British army goretex are the two best bivvies on the market. 👍

Ha ha, glad you enjoyed the setup. The Brommy can seem like a bit of a clown bike, but it's a great bit of kit and really well made. Not so good on the off road trails in the wetter months though, but then again it has no right to even be going off road! Those stuff sack pillows are great aren't they, I honestly don't know why more people aren't using them instead of the inflatable pillows that seem to fail so often! Thanks Amanda, really appreciate the comment. I am indeed looking at the Jack rack, they look ideal, could be a payday treat! There's a British creator on Instagram who makes something very similar (check out Spice rack racks). I've thought about panniers too or just a rack with a dry bag strapped to the top. Lots of options. But for the time being I'm probably going to stick with the saddle bag and go with a more minimalist approach as I weirdly kind of like the wild camping challenge that it presents! As for the Malted Milks. Yeah the standard MMs are excellent too, I could also very easily make a pack of them disappear!! 👍

Thanks Ty, great comment. I'll definitely try to explain that in my next vid. In this segment, I guess these are more like what you'd call 'Cookies' because they're sweet. In the UK we have Crackers, but they're usually savoury and eaten with cheese. I need to also try your version of biscuits because they're very different and much closer to what we'd call a 'Scone' in the UK. I shall probably need to do them with gravy too for extra authenticity! 👍
