I was really impressed with the Bobcat based on those first impressions. I'd definitely suggest that it's worth a punt, especially if you see it on offer. Indeed, I'm taking it out for a camp this week and am looking forward to giving it a whirl. Standby for some more Bobcat content!!

Love the bobcat, I've cable tied the inner to the outer so it pitches so much quicker aha!
Nice one, I've seen on the reviews that some folk have problems with the inner detaching. Will probably do something similar 👍

Nice one dude, enjoyed that & subbed... Bobcat1 is a great little tent, better than the UL for features, durability & colour, imo... The door is one of the best features, with two way zips to open it up anyway U like, or use it as a canopy... Those blowpipes are great for getting a fire going & love a bit of fried Spam, but yeah, a bit like CornBeef it's not particularly cheap now & as U mentioned, a pack of bacon would have been cheaper...!😯 Crazy, oh well happy camping...!👍😄

Yeah I definitely think that standard Bobcat is better than the UL version and I think the weight is still quite reasonable. The only thing that I'll probably change is the tent pegs, they could do with being a bit better. I really liked the door too and the 4 way zippers. Annoyingly I filmed a sequence talking about the door, but it didn't make it the edit as the go pro must have glitched. Impressed that they're YKK zippers too!
As for the spam, I think I'll just grab it whenever it's on offer, always good to have some in the cupboard! 👍

I've been tempted to get the Bobcat too... been pondering, but as I tend to hang a lot more nowadays, I've been putting it off. You got a good deal there really. I'm sure you can zip the door up and then zip it down either side so you've got like a stable door. Still watching 👍
Yeah, I bought it predominantly to use on Dartmoor as it seems like a bit of a tank. You're right about the door too, it was one of the features that I really like about it. I did film a sequence talking about that, but the go pro glitched and I didn't realise until the edit. 👍
I’m not a lover of tents really. I have a one man which is good but, I’d rather have yours than my Jack Wolfskin Gossamer.
I’d rather eat a Spam and egg roll than McDonalds any day of the week.

Hi Tim, I'm definitely a tarp person too, always a nicer way to camp. But sometimes needs must and a tent can be a sensible option. And sometimes, I just have a hankering for a tent! It was an itch that needed to be scratched!!
Gotta love a bit of spam, but I can't believe how expensive it's become! Obviously spam has the shelf life, but it's cheaper to buy a pack of bacon! 👍

Yeah...I was out for a bike ride last weekend. My bike...took control and dropped me off at my local GoOutdoors. I came out with a couple of buys for my Bike. Not for me...but my bike. Im sure it had this planned all along.

I know what you mean about height with the bobcat. I'm 6'1. I have cramp in my legs in the morning and have to get up and go for a walk about when I wake up to stretch my legs
