    There are no fueses needed to work with the MSD Relay, so if i am wiring from scratch the only fuse i will need will be the starter 30A fues only? form the start bottom i have to go again for another relay? i can not use also the MSD?

    On my 550 lite, Built my own wiring harness. I’m having an issue calibrating TPS. Once I hit calibrate. TPS reads 100%. Once I moved the white input. I was then able to get it to drop to .5-0.49. I then accelerate n its jumps to 5.00v like normal. Injectors would fire except for #3. Switched for a #1 inj plug. N the #3 inj still only fires. I then moved the Blue outputs to the B plug, outputs socket #9 or so. Test it I could hear fuel spray but not click if that makes sense. Then I put the blue in the normal socket n the #1 injector started to function normally along with my #3 that was working previously. Did that same procedure for the rest n all inj worked properly. After getting the TPS n injectors to function. I did some where the tune didn’t save nothing. So now I have to build a new map. The TPS reads 100% again n my injectors don’t work once tested in the output page. Now I have to do all that moving wires again. Or is my ecu defective? Also my Fuel psi isn’t reading oil psi is reading fine. Switch plugs n I was able to see accurate Fuel psi to my gauge. N of course no oil psi. Ppl tell me the wiring is backwards or sum silly. If that’s the case why did they function after moving certain wires on the side of the ecu? Never had to mess with a plug in the engine bay. I need help lol btw I have body to engine grounds strapped. Could it be a defective ecu?

      You’ll need a sparkpro4 ignition driver to make it work.

      Yes. This was installed on a bike that was already wired. New installs have more benefits to use the nanopro in different ways such as a switch panel

    I'm working on building harness for a 06 zx14 currently and have everything working but the gear sensor. I have an input set in the ft450 for analog gear detection, but the voltage through the gear sensor is reading 0.018 at pretty much all times. Any tips on getting the sensor to work?

      The stock sensors on those bikes aren’t the greatest but to make it work with the FuelTech you need to select it as a analog gear position sensor, then to the right make it a custom setting, then enable the pull up with the check mark box.

I have it set to analog and tried to set the voltage for each gear based on what the manual says they should be, but since every gear reads the same voltage, it won't change. It's like the sensor is just eating up all of the 5v reference from the white wire. Where would the check mark box be at? On the laptop, or is it something I can find on the FT itself?

      False. The o2 nano is highly recommended but you can run anything. Also any pressure, temperature or linear sensor etc as long as you have the information to input into the settings

      You can use it if you know the parameters for 0-5v. I always recommend the nano for the o2 because it’s CAN and doesn’t take up any inputs. It’s also self calibrating with the built in resistor and there’s no settings to fool around with. It’s plug and play. I personally would try to sell it and get a nano. You can hide the nano behind the dash so you don’t have to see it.

    So for example. If I have a V6. Each injector and each coil pack are outputs. So right off the bat that's 12. So more than likely a 450 is out of the question ??

      Yes. Unless you pair injectors and coils together to save some outputs

    Is there a way to set which items come up on each log? So instead of having say target AF on each log it’s not but if I wanted water temp on each log I wouldn’t have to add it.

    Have you been able to use a vr magnetic sensor through a input on a ft 550 without a vr converter? It's driving me crazy

      No it’s impossible to make it work without a converter on a regular white input.

    What if i want to keep the quickshifter sensor on a motorcycle, since on the street i will foot shift and only use airshift for the track, do i still need to use the pre asigned white and green cables on the b harness?

      No. 450-550-600 Is launch delay controls turned on in map options? Do you have the crosstalk setting enabled within the launch delay controls?

      The relay has an overload. If it pulls too many amps it shuts the output off.

      I read mine protects at 20A and can hold upto 80A for short bursts. My worry is that for some loads, that might be too high and you risk burning up wires or damaging other components. Say for example a fuel pump rated at 15A max.

      You can definitely add a fuse if you want to. Wouldn’t hurt to have more protection.

    On a hyabusa gen1 not running stock ignition/generator with starter nut must you have a crank sensor or will th cam sensor be enough?

    If you're making your own spark plug wire extender, the blue crimp on bullet connectors work pretty well. The female side for the plug and the male for the coil side.

      You can erase the log on the ecu, in the data logger on your laptop or also in the map on your computer. I’ll do a video to explain

      The trigger that starts the time is a validated launch using the 2step. If you’re not using a 2step there are other ways around it.

      Are you turning them on at the same time or at different times? If at the same time you can take 1 output and split it to operate 2 relays.

    Hey David will the ft550 lite support a dual cam trigger kit on a 1jz ge-t non vvti ? I’m not sure if I need to use both cam sensors seeing it’s non vvti motor or can I just use one cam sensor? It’s stock cams with adjustable cam gear i plan on using… plz help! Thanks 🙏

      No this talks to a fueltech ecu. It can be used for multiple things but can directly control ignition and fuel

    Great info Dave. Quick question. I’m thinking about using the 450 to run my 3 cylinder turbo yamaha genesis engine using semi sequential for injection and a spark pro 3 for ignition… Is it possible to run a boost controller and CHT box off of the left over injection or ignition wiring as a wide band will be used up for the O2 sensor?
