    nice video
Do I need a value in gear detection delay? and when does this come into play?

If using gear change detection by gear shift output you can delay the gear detection because when the output is active it will show the next gear before it actually makes the shift. So you can delay detection until the RPM drops.
If your not using any gear change compensations it won’t have any effect on your setup. If you are using gear change compensations then you could be doing fuel or ignition adjustments before the bike actually makes the shift.
