The Toyota Corolla is one of the best-selling cars ever made, and has been sold in a number of different countries outside of Japan, included the United States, Brazil, Venezuela, Turkey, Australia, and many others.
This ad was created in 1986 for the fifth generation Toyota Corolla, known as the Corolla E80, for Venezuela, where Toyota Corolla E80 AE82 was being manufactured and sold. The commercial was produced by Franco Rubartelli and the song was sung by popular Venezuelan singer Guillermo Carrasco.
The Corolla ceased mass sale and production in Venezuela in 1990, although the Corolla, and by extension Toyota, has maintained a presence in Venezuela since.

For those who don’t know, this goes back to I think 1942 when the RAR was returning from deployment and as they made their way through town, they saw fruit stands, and of course they were hungry and so they picked up some sweet bananas It started off as an inside joke amongst the soldiers, but soon they made a song about it and soon thereafter it became their regimental anthem and they’ve been singing it ever since
