    Yeah, I realize this song doesn't sound like a "traditional" patriotic song, but I would still classify it as a Rhodesian patriotic song.

    What does it mean Clover? no packs, no greens, knee on? I am confused with all those words.

      No packs and greens I think meant about military fighting against the guerrillas the others I'm not sure

      I think he meant "neon". As for "no packs", "no greens", it just means no carrying around backpacks and no wearing military greens (camo).
      No idea what Clover means. Maybe it's a place

      No packs means not carrying any equipment (mac pouches backpacks etc no greens means not wearing military attire. Knee on tarmac means walking on pavement not The rhodesian Bush (jungle etc)

      In English to be in clover just means to be living a good life.

      "In clover" is British (so by default also Rhodesian) slang for comfortable.
