Hey mate, loving this build. We have something similar in mind. A little tip for your sagging issue. Real semi trailers have camber built into the chassis rails to compensate for sag due to weight. So essentially, from king pin to rear axles, the trailer is slighter convexed. When weight goes on, they flatten out slightly. Hope that helps, keep it up 😊

I know I've already commented once, brother, but I was just thinking... what about extending the front of the trailer the same length you took off of the back, and do an RV style camper over the upper deck/fifth wheel? Kinda like a toy hauler type thing. Just an idea. Keep it up, man!!!

Run 4 frame rails instead of the 2 should strengthen the deck. The length is fine. Having that hitch piece could make a very easy detach trailer. Not really needed but could be neat

A 10th scale 53 foot trailer would be 5.3 feet long, so the whole rig should be 7 foot to scale up to a 70 foot bumper to bumper truck and trailer. Given the wheel base of the truck, 7 and a half foot should be spot on. I think to stiffen the trailer some angle iron rails welded on the bottom and to tie the neck as wheel as the rear suspension. Or a bit more work notch some 3/4 by 1/4 flat stock to act as the frame rails on the trailer. The type of trailer you are talking about I want to say it has a walking beam suspension. So its either two or four axle, not three. You just need to figure out how far apart you want the wheels and tires, run a single tube between the axles. Then just use a single bolt between the two axles to bolt to the trailer and allows the axles to seesaw on that pivot. O=o=O sort of like that, no springs no shocks and with 8 sets of duals the trailer should carry a person or two really easily. Our rgn are 63 foot long but the well of the trailer is 27 foot.

Put 2 bars welded from the tounge extension and weld each beam to it underneath so it doesn’t flex
