Very cool build. Definitely build what YOU like. I learned a long time ago that there’s a lot of critics in this hobby no matter what you do. I also don’t focus on the weight of most of my builds because I build them to have fun with them. Now if I was entering competitions then maybe I’d focus on that…but I don’t so I won’t. Anyway, your rig is definitely taking shape.
I sure hope to see you cut some windows and windshield in that nice build, with that thick clear package wrap plastic for glass is what I use, It's free! You wouldn't want it to look half assed with all the other details you've done. [Tip] Windshield wiper refills make great scale fender flares, just cut to length, round off ends, attach with 3M weather strip adhesive. Kool Builds!! Keep It Up!
I love the builds on the channel man, diesel tech here always peeping your toolbox’s in the back! (Tool box tour?) I would say try some inflatable tires, or some pool noodles to keep the budget low. Thanks for the content man
Put the batteries in the tanks! Also, I use a pair of duck bill pliers or a “hand brake” to bend my sheet metal. You can find the pliers at Home Depot. Normally used for metal siding
If you want Do a little deep grinding for the door outlines and all lines of the truck it will look more realistic I just discover your channel today You have done amazing work From Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
They do sell a sheet metal with a ton of little holes in it that could be useful for making stuff for RCs but you probably already know that, but the rigs looking good
Just imagine: Home owners association comes by and tells you your garage door must be either open to use it, or closed. Never left open.. arrhh I could never live like that in those communities. Lol Seen a video of a guy get $150 fine. Insane.
Pool noodle or upholstery foam from a craft store. And while it might not be budget friendly, the two speed trans out of the 1/6th scale Axial rig should handle the weight a little better than a 10th scale trans. Plus high gear might add both a fun and terrifying experience to the truck. I've been thinking of putting a brass gear equipped Tamiya 3 speed semi trans in my large scale truck, as those guys routinely pull over a hundred pounds with the 14th scale trucks.
Lookin well cool. Got me wondering what sorta motor / ESC You going to use, I'm guessing it's going to be something pretty grunty to haul 20Lb rig + trailer + load. Proper heavy haulage! Would be worth asking Crawler Canyon for recommendation of tyre foams to support 20 Lb rig. There aint much he don't know about tyres and foams for crawlin and Im sure he can point You in the right direction. Are You going to give it a classic oldschool big rig paint job in the style of it's full scale relatives?
I have tried some on the hauler and i can't find any that small for it or these new tires for the semi. The sizes for them are really weird. Or I keep picking weird size tires haha
What size are those tires? super beefy 💪 the rig is turning out wicked just keep truckin brother I'll keep watching. Thanks for sharing, wow 20 lbs. I'm guessing 25ish when done 😊
They are pretty beefy, but for 2.2s, they're actually quite small. I think they are only 4.7in. Now on the weight, I'm now guessing about 30lbs without the tow truck stuff on the back hahaha
Hey man if your willing send me dimensions of the wheels and tires and I can 3d print you some inserts for your wheels and tires!! I can try to make them semi stiff to help with weight! Just as a supporter no charge
That would be awesome! If you send me an email at wafflesrc2023@gmail.com then we can talk more about that. I can't ask for them for free cause if they work, I'll also want to get some for the hauler.

Rig is looking great so far 👍 air cleaners look cool. Awesome video brother!!
Invested in this build, Loving it.
Looking great 👍 iv seen people use those pool noodles things as tire foams loving this build 😀 👌

It looks Good, very good
Deadly Build. I'm pumped to see it done. Inspiring as always ❤
It’s really coming together wow!🤘✌️
Rc4wd has tire foams single stage that are super stiff almost like furniture foams
First non member❤🎉. I’m doing my first complete ground up build. A trx4m with a lot of money and the Amazon fairy will come often 😊
🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏
Very nice!!! I also love that amazon fairy hahaha
I’m really loving this build! Unfortunately the RUclips algorithm doesn’t, so I’m a little late to your vids
Looks awesome 🔥💯
If you want
Do a little deep grinding for the door outlines and all lines of the truck it will look more realistic
I just discover your channel today
You have done amazing work
From Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Nice build
I've seen tires on Amazon that are inflatable. I don't know how good they are or what your budgets like but maybe that something you could look into.
Good job very creative
Try a pool noodle they are going to be a harder foam and still be able to squish
Proline makes good tire inserts that I use for my heavy builds.
Must agree, the new steps look better. Realistic mid-build look when sitting on jack stands.
Thank you very much!!
Use pool noodles for the wheels. Its trick I learned from Aaron from RCSparks. The do conform a little, but still add stability.
Very nice 🙂👍
Crawler Innovations heavy weight closed cell foams
I have seen some me tires on amazon that you fill up with air but not sure how good they are
8:04 get a 3d printed insert to help with the tire looking deflated. or those injora inserts work great too. think the RED ones would do you fine!
Came here to say the same. Red injoras would probably work. My only concern would be the width.
They do sell a sheet metal with a ton of little holes in it that could be useful for making stuff for RCs but you probably already know that, but the rigs looking good
Awesome 😊😊
Should do a trailer build with the rest of the burban that you cut the front off 🤘🤘
That thing is looking wicked man and maybe try using a window spray foam it still has some flex when it’s dried
You can cut up a pool noodle and use it for your tire inserts to make them stiffer
Just imagine:

Lol

A good substitute for the foam is pool noodles

You should look into the gel inserts those might suit you very well
Try injora inserts for your tires the red ones
Looking good try 3D printed inserts you can get really stiff ones from injora
so cool
U could use pink foam from home depot

I wonder if the blue injora silicone inserts would work better. Deff stiffer than foam but still pliable
some anti foams or printed inserts would do good to hold up
Looks awesome and you could try silicone inserts I think Amazon sells them but I'm not sure if they make them that wide
I have tried some on the hauler and i can't find any that small for it or these new tires for the semi. The sizes for them are really weird. Or I keep picking weird size tires haha
Looks real keep it up. that's what makes u happy keep up the good work. What color on the truck you going with?
I haven't settled on a color yet honestly. I have a few ideas I'm going back and forth with but I can't pick one.
What size are those tires? super beefy 💪 the rig is turning out wicked just keep truckin brother I'll keep watching. Thanks for sharing, wow 20 lbs. I'm guessing 25ish when done 😊

Their are two windshields also
Injora silicone inserts.
Spray home could work for the tires.
Have you tried proline dual stage foams
Proline single stage
Not sure your tire size but injora silicone reds or injora dual stage reds
Can't say much because I don't do what you do but I would say you should have made the fuel tank bigger. It would make it more scale like " "
sl3d inserts what size you need
It's only suppose to have two steps
Can I ask wheel and tire setup?
It's height! Not heighth!.. lol. I know the words "width" and "depth" and "length" throw us off a bit.. but heighth is not a word.
Trying to join as a member and can’t find the button 🤦🏻♂️ I’m old 🤣😆😂
On any of the videos there is a "join" button that will get you going on being a member. Thank you in advance if you do!!
I don’t see the join button in mobile. I see a thanks button but no join button.
I thought my 6x6 Winnebago hauler was heavy
Pics please! That sounds awesome!
Oh its not even close to its full weight haha
