Your expaeectation of healing time for God is ridiculous! Anyone who puts a time stamp on their healing is not a Christian. I have struggled with Homosexuality for over 30 years.. NOT CURED.. But I KNOW God has brought me out of the life and I live for him now. It's a cop out as a Christian to say to God, "Sorry, I tried you and just didn't work for me," SHAME ON YOU. I pray that you find the Lord and that you truly have an experience where you meet the real Jesus in the midst of your sin. Well I pity this guy, from the weird attempts to pray himself straight (or maybe it was a magic genie wish) to his failure at therapy, ( it happens quite a lot regardless of issue) he seems to be pretty miserable. It works for some doesn't work for everyone your results may vary big whoop. What is interesting is that he dedicated his life to try to prove that no one else can do what he failed to do. That is some fucked up maladjustment right there. I mean he had cemented his failure into the core of his being and made it the focal point of his life to make sure he watched in case anyone else doesn't live up to his projected ideal. This guy is pretty disturbed.... (might I suggest a refund and perhaps way way more therapy?)

I think in the future there will be away for science to change sexual orientation however for now it's impossible to change.

Dan: Isn't there some way we can have Dr. Nicolosi prosecuted by the state for continuing to use his "repairative therapy" on minors? I have seen him boast about breaking this law right here on RUclips. I think the state would have a strong case, as I'm sure he's breaking the 2012 law. Have you considered this?

This is really a great video. Well stated and quite factual. It's an informative and concise tool to explain the main problems of anti-gay religious beliefs and teachings to those that are unaware of the issues and cannot imagine what it's like going through puberty, realizing that you're gay and simultaneously being spiritually, Biblically and emotionally abused by your church home and the spiritual leaders you trust and look to for guidance (the one place you should be able to take refuge in such a tumultuous time in your life. His experience echos mine - and ALMOST every gay and lesbian I know that grew up in conservative or semi-conservative religious homes.

I wonder if the supposed successful conversions are simply people that are *just* far enough on the scale bisexual, that they manage to focus (and perhaps build) on their natural (partial/limited) attraction to the opposite sex, so it's enough to settle to be with someone of the opposite sex. So in a way they are still being true to themselves but only denying their same sex attractions. (If that makes any sense)
