I never said that this is what she believes should apply to all those who seek to try and "change" themselves, merely that it is something she has commented on in other interviews and that it is an idea that has been expressed by many who advocate the need for gays to change there lives. Happiness and honesty in the fact that the comments she makes (and that of those who promote ex-gay therapy) about the gay community and being gay in general do not represent the majority of us.

Ahh I see so ex-gay now also means celibacy. To live a supposedly proper, meaningful, productive, saved life (which we can't have as gays) means suppressing your natural desires to fit another's mold. I think I rather take my chances with happiness and honesty.

Ya know, when someone has to repeat their declaration of ex-gaydom over and over again, it sounds like thou protest too much.

How typical of exgaywatch to take out :14 of her interview and to put all of the focus on it. I was gay for 20 years until I repented for ALL of my sins and invited Jesus Christ into my heart.
