I just want to point out, you don’t have to change beloved characters to put a “modern take” on their adventures and stories, you can bring in new characters (like Dame Nawal) to bring representation for queer people. Whether you believe it or not, queer people and relationships have been recorded throughout history, and it’s important to all these people that representation and support can be added into a character like Indiana Jones. He genuinely didn’t care about a same sex relationship between two women and that shows more respect in one look than what was said in this video
