There are reshoots and post-production that will probably add another 100 million - some delayed due to the Hollywood strikes. Let's add up the budget so far - - - 200 from the UK (Sept 2022). Then from Oct 2022 to now at least another 100 in reshoots and postproduction CGI. The CGI for the 7 magical creatures is going to cost a lot of money! Now we are up to 300 million. Tag on another 100 million for promotion in 2024 - - - we are NOW at the Indiana Jones 5 budge of 400 million dollars. To breakeven, the Mouse has to take in at least 800 million. That will not happen. Disney would be better to just do a DC Batgirl on this movie and write it off. Never release it. This woke movie was doomed from the very start.

"recast due to strike" doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't a recast need rewrites in certain aspects to fit the new actor/actress as different people do things differently?
