Bucky should have been the new Captain America. There are a lot of stories with Bucky the would have transferred over well.

I am black and I want bucky as captain America . He is a super soldier . Falcon is not . Makes no sense . They made it a point that he is does not want to take the serum . No increased strength .

The only individual who should be captain America is Steve Rogers. Marvel is far too fixated on turning characters into mantel characters. It doesn’t work or make sense.
That's pretty common in comics
They are using what they call "mantle theory", where anyone can be any character. They're doing this to promote the checkbox characters, the less white, less male, less moral they are the better in their eyes.

I def dont have an issue with Bucky Barnes becoming Captain America, these so called people that said you never read a comic book in your life clearly hasnt either. Bucky Barns became Captain America in issue Captain America #34 (January 2008). so they could of easily used that as the foundation and continue to make it grow from there thats beyond the storyline of the comic series.
But they didn’t want to they went with Sam who is also CA in the comics. So does it matter?
The best part about him complaining at all of what Disney is doing is that no matter what Disney puts out, he's always there to talk about them regardless of his reaction. He nor any of these stubborn children across the internet can't change Disney's perspective on what they believe makes the majority happy, and by majority I mean to those who actually cares about their merchandise and products.

I'm a massive, massive MUC fan & as much as I love Falcon, I would have to agree to Bucky taking up the Shield 🛡️ because he's a super soilder just like Cap & his best friend so that is the way I would have taken it.

he did become cap despite his past, he was even injected with the serum to amplify his strength and courage despite being brainwashed and manipulated to kill. he passed the serum injection and became cap and the ethos of cap in the comics and he was pretty damn awesome at it and lead the avengers.

They destroyed the momentum with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. It was cheap, and played off the success of the final movies. More exact, he rejected it, the people rejected it, Sheild Rejected it and then the rubbish story killed it, and then unlinked to the story the Falcon wanted it and everyone else did in the last 15 minuets and we have no idea why?? You either go hard in to Falcon wanting it but worried can he be it without the enhancement and just his genius and tech alone; or you force it on Winter Solider because he has the enhancement but he’s tortured because he does not think he can be the hero and do what’s right at the right time no matter what because he’s flawed and the people know it… and don’t but the Charcter in your first ever ‘TV Marvel Show’ talk about killing the lead and the star every fan and human can look to and feel a hero to! 2:46
$100M is nothing new for reshoots. Falcon was Captain America in the comics. If Bucky became the Cap then you'd still hsve people bitching it's not cb accurate. Yeah MCU movies are shight now but this Captain America is in a no win situation with audiences.

and there are many many more heroes of black culture to work with, literally a large canvas and Blade was incredible. lets expand on these heroes and give them the limelight even though they are already doing it with Myles Morales which has been widely received with positive outcomes. Bishop is one of the most badass characters in the series and universe lets expand on him would looooove to see bishop get the attention he rightfully deserves.
