  • Netflix's Avatar the Last Airbender is getting some character changes, according to showrunner, Albert Kim. They are changing Aang as a character and are also making changes to other major characters.

    Characters are heart of the story. No visuals and cgi can make up for lack of character development. Enhance the story not change it. One Piece creator was part of it, but Matt Owens and the entire cast respected it!

      100% agreed. And removing some of the important developmental points of Aang will probably prove to be detrimental.

      @GrahamCast His childish nature is important to Aang’s growth and adds to how him and Katara’s end up together. You can’t have them just end up together with no moments between them. My ultimate fear is that she is going to be a girl boss and series will be a Disney adaption.

    That statement of animation not being taken seriously is bullshit like maybe if this was the 80s when everything was Care Bears but not today not even in the main stream we have animation that is more serious and nuance

      Agreed. Animation has been infinitely better than live action over the past decade.
