I'm not watching this.
It's been years of these writers with no integrity having no respect for the source material, and I'm done with it. People need to stand up against this nonsense, so this ridiculous trend ends quicker.
This trend of modern feminists imbuing every show/movie with toxic femininity has become a problem for us fantasy/sci- fans. And what makes it so much worse is that if we comment about it we're called misogynists. This needs to stop.
It's also so extremely hypocritical and devious of them. They have become the very thing they hated in men. The stories used to have great women and men as characters, not this all-woman casting and repeating theme of demeaning men that we've seen for years now. Equality would equally represent male and female, not one or the other. This trend is creating more cultural problems than helping.
Hollywood needs to stop lazily shoving their political crap into their productions, because it breaks all emersion and is creating more division and culture wars.
Also, good writers with skill and care can put a parable that's uplifting for the world into a story that still have a great plot, world building, and character development. This is just fan fiction surface level writing that uses virtue signaling as a shield so people can't critique it when it's not good.
Why will it fail? I didn't get that. Or maybe you didn't say that...

At this point I am hoping for Disney to make as many feminist/woke movies as they can and loose as much money as they can. It's just funny to see their stupidity. I am entertained not by their content, but by their losses.

I don't get it really... "I want no women. Only men. But, not like in a gay way"... The take of every dude who doesn't get that Marvel is big enough to have to cater to different groups because man boys aren't enough ...and now you're all salty like when WWE started the Women's division.
Nah, the women heroes are fine, but not when they replace the heroes we actually like with a female or diverse version of them for the sake of female empowerment. No problem with Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, etc.

There's got to be at least one redeeming quality to everything in life or we're all just gonna be I one big hate fest all the time.
