Love the top cabinet colour but not the bottom cabinets IMO. I think you need to keep swatching. It's important to get right especially with the rustic wood island.

I am replacing my Christmas tree after the 40 year old Japanese one started suddenly falling apart and springing needles everywhere! Do you remember anything about yours? I like the shape and I know you probably looked into it before choosing. I was unimpressed with what I am seeing online. The pictures are all lies and the quality atrocious. Thanks and love your design ideas as always ..

You are so admirably organized! I want to be like that, live like that. But it seems like whenever I establish a plan, it becomes obsolete within a month, so then, I have to start all over again🤦‍♀️…. Looking very maaahhhvelous!

Hi, God Fortsättning och gott nytt år. That is Happy Continuation something, we say most commonly between Christmas and New Years, but it works all the way until 20 days after Christmas, and a Happy New Year to you too. We didn't have a Christmas Tree this year but my DH put up all our christmas lights around the walls and window, most of them came down today, and all the gnomes Santas and pixies have moved back into their boxes. I never got any notifications from your channels so I thought you had taken the time off. But I checked today and I'm caught up on your painting, putting up trim, and building kitchen cabinets. I'm still in awe of your ability to do all of the million things you have to do for that. Just knowing about those million things you need to do is impressive. I'm excited to see how your kitchen is going to turn out, with the new colors and fixing the black hole in the corner. All kitchens have them, or how else are we going to explain all the random things that goes missing or turn up in there? Yours looks like it is in the corner with your fridge, but looks can be deceiving in these cases. I'm going to see if I've missed something else from you, if I have see you over there. Yours, Ann

This is the first of your videos I have viewed, and I am a new subscriber. I am looking forward to viewing more content on your channel. I think the cabinets look great and am impressed with your cabinet making skills. Although the cabinet “around” the refrigerant only has a full enclosure panel on the right side, I think you should consider at least putting a face frame on the left hand side of the cabinet against the wall to give the illusion that the cabinet actually surrounds the refrigerator. The way it is now, my eye is immediately drawn to the dark gap between the wall and refrigerator instead of seeing the whole kitchen as a cohesive design. Please don’t take my comment as criticism as I think you have done a fantastic job. This is just a new set of eyes. 😊

MDF is more stable.

omg this is so perfect! I have wanted to make something just like this for my fridge but had no idea where to start. This is giving me so much encouragement and motivation to get it done now!

We used MDF on our living room built ins, they were perfect, no shrinkage, cracking or warping. Just be safe and always wear a mask when cutting it. I’m so impressed with your skills.

You know, if you get tired of RUclips, you can go into custom cabinetry. You have skills!

Quick tip when driving screws; there’s a dial on the drill with numbers, the lower you set the number the less torque it put out. So in theory it wont go too quickly and split your wood. You set it all the way up to drill holes into wood which requires a lot of power. Hope that helps! Keep up the great work!

Love the new cabinet colors!

We used MDF for all our interior window and door trim, it's now 15 years old and looks as good as it did when we installed it. It's so nice and straight, easy to work with! I'm sure you won't regret using it. Your building skills are impressive!

Pashmina is actually Ben Moore. I have it in one room in my home, one at the cottage, and my sister used it in her house. Looks like a different colour everywhere. I like your choices.

Well, I'm glad you found a color that pleases you. Some people love to change colors on their cabinets/walls (really any painting any where. I'm not one of those people 😉. I did paint a couple of rooms, my sister in-law came over, went home and repainted her living and dining rooms. She and her husband had just painted them for 2 months previously... because she liked mu color better LOL...

I am in awe of your skills in building your kitchen and have no doubts that it will look stunning when it is finished. I am looking forward to seeing the new colour and of course it is important you and you hubby are happy with your choice, but have to confess I am weeping a little inside to see that gorgeous green go😢 lol. Cannot wait to see what you do with the rest of the house. You should both feel really proud.
