Hi, thanks for your comment. The x3s (for Sony) normally can’t trigger, say, canon flashes or others. But for example under certain circumstances, if your Canon flash is connected to a compatible Godox receiver (like the Godox X1R-C or similar), the X3-S can communicate with the receiver to trigger the Canon flash.

Hi, thanks for your comment. The mic on them is okay, not bad not good. In my opinion, even Apple’s ones are like I’m talking under water. These JBL ones are like I’m in a little deeper in the water talking. Hope my analogy that makes sense.

To lower the sound of your breathing while hiking, try switching to the ‘Front Mic’ or ‘Directional Mic’ setting so it focuses more on what’s in front of you. Also, turn on Wind Noise Reduction-it can help soften breathing sounds. And you can also lower the mic gain a bit to avoid picking up too much. And if you’re editing the video, you can tweak the audio with a noise gate to reduce it even more. And rest with the windmuff too. Hope that helps!

Hi! It sounds like your D-pad (cross) and joystick calibration might need adjustment. Try resetting the controller via the Flydigi app by connecting it and recalibrating both the D-pad and joystick axes. Also, check if there’s a firmware update available for the Apex 4. Let me know if that works!

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. I’m currently running iPadOS 18.3 (22D5034e). I believe it’s the Apple Beta version. On the bright side, the Apex 4 seems to be working perfectly fine for me. Is there anything specific you’re noticing with the 18.2 version?

I assume you mean you can’t? I wouldn’t know exactly why. Double-checking the Apex 4 controller connection, fully charged? Possibly check for the new firmware update for the controller? Or maybe wait for the iPadOS 18.3? Let me know if you have tried everything to remedy it.

Thanks for your comment. Not much, 1800mAh. If you set it to its highest fan level, it only lasts for about 30 min. So plugging it in would be best to play or use it for lengthy periods.

RGB Range Mismatch: The RGB range setting might not be properly detected or configured. If the PS5 outputs a full-range RGB signal but the capture settings are set to limited range (or vice versa), the image will appear darker. The solution is to either adjust the console’s video output settings or change the OBS source settings for the capture card to “Full” RGB range. 2. HDR/SDR Tone Mapping: By default, Elgato capture cards output SDR with tone mapping when capturing HDR content. This can make the video appear darker if not handled properly. To record actual HDR content, you need to disable HDR tone mapping in the Elgato 4K Capture Utility by holding CTRL to access hidden settings and unchecking “Enable HDR Tonemapping on Device when Closing Software.” This step is only necessary if you are intentionally recording HDR content in OBS. These issues are primarily related to the mismatch in signal processing between the console, capture card, and OBS.

@ i tested the batteries with a multimeter and they read 1.8v before i installed them. I did change them out and (same pack) these seem to be lasting. Thanks!!!

So there are several possible factors that I can’t pinpoint, try the following first, if not, you could always use their dedicated Elgato software: ScreenFlow Settings: Check the audio buffer size (smaller reduces lag), making sure the correct audio input device is selected, and use the “Sync Audio and Video” option. Elgato Configuration: Check audio output mode aligns with ScreenFlow (e.g., HDMI or analog passthrough) and making sure the firmware is up to date via the Elgato Control Center app. Mac Optimization: Close unnecessary background apps and check that ScreenFlow is updated to the latest version. Post-Processing: Use ScreenFlow’s timeline editor to manually sync audio and video if necessary. Alternate Recording Setup: Record audio separately using a dedicated microphone or audio interface and sync in post-editing. Adjust Audio Latency: Explore the Elgato settings for an “audio delay” option to align audio with video in real time.

@@TossSong So the audio starts out synced, but gets less and less synced over the recording. I tried most of the stuff you suggested and none of it has worked so far.

Have you used their Elgato capturing software for comparison? And also OBS for Mac? (Versus ScreenFlow.) Is it possible that your Mac may not have the required specs? Last resort, you may also want to contact Elgato support and see what else can be done.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can use the Elgato 4K X to help reduce the load on your PC while streaming or recording, but it doesn’t completely handle everything on its own. The capture card will take in the video signal and pass it to your PC, where your system still handles some processing. To further reduce GPU load, you can tweak your streaming software settings to use your CPU or a specific GPU encoder. It’s not a full replacement for a dual-PC setup, but it can definitely help!

I think both ways, depending whether which app you’re using RUclips or Music app (like Pandora or Apple Music).

Hi, thanks for reaching out. The USB-C receiver from the Hollyland Lark M2 is designed for devices with a USB-C port. Unfortunately, using it with a USB-C to Lightning adapter to connect to an iPhone is unlikely to work. This is because most USB-C to Lightning adapters are not bidirectional and do not support audio or full data communication. Although I haven’t test it, but I’m sure it’s likely wouldn’t work.
